1. macOS: Invert colors on all monitors via DisplayLink Manager

   When using latest macOS (currently 14.1.1) and DisplayLink Manager (currently 1.10) via Anker 563 (would apply to any DL device), it would be nice if when one does 'Invert colors' in macOS as per below, DisplayLink Manager applies this setting to all external monitors. Presently, this functionality only works on the laptop screen only, not any external monitors connected via USB-C to HDMI out.

3. Expansive screen sizes on Android

   HI! This program is great; it does its job well. An ultrawide monitor and a Galaxy S8 are in my possession. The app's 16:9 aspect ratio means that the image has black borders on all sides, including the top and bottom. Regardless, the software is fantastic, and fixing it would be wonderful. 4. DisplayLink Monitor Not Waking After Sleep on macOS

   Hi everyone, I’m using a MacBook with DisplayLink and I have two external monitors: one connected directly via USB-C to HDMI and the other one connected via VGA through DisplayLink. The issue is that when the screens go into screensaver or sleep mode, both monitors turn off as expected. But when I wake the Mac up again, only the USB-C to HDMI monitor comes back on. The VGA monitor connected via DisplayLink stays off until I unplug it and wait about 30 seconds before plugging it back in. Any idea how to fix this?

   Please add full HDR (HDR10/HLG) and 10-bit color support to DisplayLink pipelines, with per-monitor ICC color management across Windows, macOS, and Linux/Wayland. Today many DisplayLink setups are effectively SDR/8-bit, leading to banding and inaccurate colors for creators and analysts. Proposed capabilities: (1) end-to-end 10-bit path with HDR metadata passthrough and correct EDID handling; (2) OS-level integration so each DisplayLink monitor can use its own ICC profile (including factory LUTs); (3) a simple on/off toggle with automatic SDR↔HDR switching and safe fallback; (4) minimal added latency and no reduction of max resolution/refresh vs current support. 6. Enable Using AirPlay, for macOS 10.12.+ Siera Just like is being done on High Siera and Mojave

   I am a video deejay using a Macbook that has a failed GPU so i currently rely on one of your devices to connect to an external display.I upgraded to Mac OS High sierra and realized that my display link driver works differently(blue airplay icon) and i have much better performance now(faster frame rates with mix-emergency & Serato ,transparency on the dock And task bar),thank you for that .But The problem is Mac Os High Sierra is Just too Unstable right now for example due to the failed GPU i have completely disabled it but because of that my laptop does not sleep when l close the lid also when it sleeps it cannot wake the screen when i wake it up also i cannot control the screen brightness worst of all i have experienced 3 complete unrecoverable Os crushes in the past two weeks since finally upgrading to high sierra from mac OS sierra so i`ve reinstalled mac OS sierra and my computer works just fine now but im back to the older functioning display link driver that has better resolution on my external display running natively in 1360*768 resolution but has much much lower frame rates on both mix emergency and virtual DJ video output because it doesn't work like the air play one on high sierra .

   so my suggestion is that you please implement the same airplay idea on high sierra it works much better

9. Support for Target Display Mode (i.e. using an iMAC as a monitor)

   An iMAC can be used as an external monitor using Target Display Mode. Is it possible to get a DisplayLink dock to enable TDM when iMAC is plugged to the dock (i.e. using a Tunderbolt 2 to HDMI cable)?

   For example, I have a MAC Book Pro 13inch (2016) and an iMAC 27inch (2012). I use iMac as an external monitor using TDM with MacBook Pro (using a Thunderbolt 2 to USB-C cable) as described on https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mh30822/mac

   I also have a Dell DA300 displaylink dock. Using Tunderbolt 2 to HDMI cable to connect iMAC to dock and USB-C from dock to MacBook Pro does not get iMAC display to switch to Macbook Pro.

11. Enable visual accessibility settings for partially sighted users

    Both Windows & macOS have tools for applying colour filters to a screen to enable partially sighted users better access to these devices.

    These settings are enforced on monitors directly connected to theses devices and were previously supported on prior versions of DisplayLink when using a Mac but are not working currently.

    Is there a plan to leverage the built-in OS tools to enable this in the future?

12. Display "Flip"

    Ich benutze den dritten Zusatzmonitor für einen Teleprompter, damit ich meinen Teilnehmern direkt "in die Augen schauen kann". Dazu wird der Bildschirm auf einem halbdurchlässigen Spiegel, der vor der Kamera sitzt, gespiegelt.

    Problem: Der Bildschirminhalt ist dann gespiegelt. Die einstellbare Drehung um 90/180/270 nützt hier leider nichts.

    Man nennt dies wohl "Display Flip" - es gibt auch spezielle Grafikkarten die dies ermöglichen, aber für Mac habe ich bisher keine Lösung gefunden.

    Meine aktuelle Lösung sieht so aus, dass ich einen zusätzlichen "echten Spiegel" dazwischen habe, das Bild also zwei mal gespiegelt wird. Das ist aber sehr Platzraubend und nimmt dem Bild sehr viel Licht.

    Das wäre ein grandioses Feature, das auf Treiberebene glaube ich doch gar nicht so schwer umzusetzen ist.

    Meines Erachtens könnte sich das aktuell aufgrund der massiven Zunahme an Video-Sessions in allem möglichem Bereichen, ein spannendes Verkaufsargument sein.

    Ich weiß zumindest, dass viele nach so einer Lösung suchen ...

    My Toshiba Dynabook uses a DisplayLink-chipset for things like 1x 3.5mm headphone audio output (front) and 3x 3.5mm surround sound audio output (rear; 5.1). When setting Windows to 5.1 audio, the headphone-output only plays the stereo front audio. There should be an option inside the driver-software-interface to switch between different modes: a) headphones/surround are different audio devices, b) headphone should play all 5.1 sounds (the 3x rear audio jacks), c) the current way (just in case somebody wants it that way). Why? I see the headphone output as a way to seamlessly switch between loudspeakers and well quieter headphones. That's why the headphone-output should play the same as all 3x rear outputs.

14. Support of proprietary NVIDIA driver

    On my Ubuntu 20.04, Thinkbook 16p 2Gen, ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C+USB-A Dock combination, DisplayLink driver 5.5.Beta works at least for a hdmi 2560x1440 display together with the proprietary NVIDIA driver version 510.47.03.
    Setting the displays via the kde control panel was not so easy and robust ... with "nvidia-settings" impossible.

    It's okay for me now. So, many thanks for the driver. :-)

    Displaylink driver 5.4.1 did not work at all.

    Is it a coincidence or luck that 5.5.Beta works with the proprietary NVIDIA driver?

    Is an update to DisplayLink Release: 5.5, Mar 9, 2022 a risk?

    Currently, when Using HIDPI Mode , It recognized 6016X3384 resolution on Mac info, regardless of when choose 3008x1692 or 2560x1440(looks like)

    It make Low Performance on overall Mac.

17. Publish DisplayLink Android app in the Sunmi App store

    Sunmi has it's own app store (https://www.sunmi.com/en-US/appstore/) with lot's of apps. The sunmi devices have a wide range of business devices (point of sale, signature).

    It would be great, if there is a official DisplayLink available. Currently there is only a unfficial app available and not available for all devices.

18. Windows 11 : with latest nvidia drivers, monitos does not work.

    Firstly, my setup :
    "monster" make "monster tulpar t7 v21.7" gamin laptop
    RTX 3060 Notebook gpu
    GQeem T4801 docking station
    "monster" make "aryond" two monitors.

    Secondly, the problem :
    I have been using windows 10 on my operating system. And everything was just fine with it. Than, i need to switch to windows 11, and here it goes.
    With windows 11, there was no any problem at the first, but after a certain nvidia driver versions, i just can not use my monitors. I have to use the roll back driver and it is "512", otherwise all other latest drivers creating a problem with my displaylink setup.

    Third, what I did :
    I have tried to get contact with microsoft and nvidia about this problem. But there is no solution or answer.
    I have tried lots of drivers from displaylinks download page, none of them worked.
    I have tried to update my system in case of any driver to most up to date version, but problem still occurs.
    I have tried to format.

    If you could help me, I would be glad to see that.

    That the app had its own desktop interface (as does Samsung's dex mode or Motorola's ready for)

20. Add Network detection like Kensington DockWorks

    Please add network settings to Display-Link Software, so that Kensington DockWorks functionality is available for all Docking Stations:

    • disable WiFi when connecting to a Docking Station with Ethernet Connection
    • Passthrough MAC-Adress from the WiFi-Adpter to the Eth-Adapter in the Dock, so that the same IP-Adress can be used and all network cennections don't need to be reconfigured
    • Enable WiFi again when Dock is disconnected
