  2. Fix DisplayLink driver so it works 100% with MacOS

When I have only 1 external monitor connected to my M1 MacBook Pro and I'm not using DisplayLink, the "Remember Window Position" feature of the OS works as expected.
With 2 external monitors (and the unfortunate necessity of DisplayLink), the Remember Window Position feature no longer works.
Please fix the DisplayLink driver so it is effectively invisible to the OS and external monitors behave the same as they do without DisplayLink.

  3. ICC support on BigSur and Intel macs

As of now there's a littl quirk in the way DL manages screens and icc profiles. On my M1 11.6 macOS my screens are detected in ColorSync. Thus I can use ICC profiles for calibration. On my work intel 11.6 macOS the screens are not detected. This is weird considering that DisplayLink caters to the "pro" community. As of now I have o idead what profile my INTEL is using thus making my color critical work laptop slightly useless.

But, why is the M1 seeing them? I would expect that this would be a problem on M1s not INTEL.

  6. screen not detected with 10.1 M2 Win

I updated my system from 10.1 M1 to 10.1 M2 (Win10, Plugable UD6950 USB3 dual 4K, BenQ 3440x1440) and the monitor was not longer detected, even after rebooting PC+dock.
Fortunatly desinstalling M2 and reinstalling M1 solve the issue

  7. Apple TV (application) won't display image while DisplayPort is running.

Apple TV opens windows and time advances but no images are displayed. Quitting DisplayPort manager resolves the problem.

  8. macOS and M1/Intel: Add 1920x1080 hidpi (looks like 1920*1080) for QHD/2K monitors

1920x1080 hidpi (looks like 1920*1080) support for QHD/2K monitors is useful, for both intel and apple silicons.

  9. Please support screen rotation on the m1 MacBooks

Please support screen rotation on the m1 MacBooks because now there are so many vertical videos out there and we really want one of our 2 external monitors vertical.

  10. remove the need to have screen recording turned on

remove the need to have screen recording turned on this is just poor programming on your part as other companies don't do this and it very bad for security

  11. Manager / option for disable one of external monitor

    Hi,
I am using HP G2 universal dock which support 2xDP and 1xHDMI.
It would be great to control from app/manager enabling and disabling one of external monitor.
I see it like available monitors list with checkbox (enabled/disabled) in DisplayLink Manager located in top bar - macOS.

  12. Nvidia CUDA for DisplayLink docks

CUDA® is a parallel computing platform and programming model developed by NVIDIA for general computing on graphical processing units (GPUs). With CUDA, developers are able to dramatically speed up computing applications by harnessing the power of GPUs

DisplayLink can start using it to free up CPU for the other tasks?

  14. Display "Flip"

  15. Add features to DisplayLink Manager (Mac OS; poss. others)

Let's turn the screen real-estate from the DisplayLink Manager (DLM) into something more useful:
    1) Add display of DLM version number.
    2) Add access to DLM logs or trouble-shooting tools.
    3) Add unicorns and rainbows. (Catch-all for any content you'd like.)

  16. support close lid

It would be great if you can implement support for the close lid, as this is available for the legacy driver, I'm not able to work on my Mac when the lid is closed and have to stick with old software to had that feature. On Display link Manager when you put a lid to close mode mac goes to sleep instead of turn off the internal monitor.

  17. When will displaylink support AMD cpu/gpu in Linux

Currently displaylink-based docking stations and amgpus are not usable on Linux. The screen refresh lagging is horrible.

Can you provide a plan when this will be fixed or at least make a proper disclaimer that Linux is not supprted. so people can spend their money on working products.

    Thanks.

  18. Ubuntu driver 5.3.1 bug

You should correct the Ubuntu driver to create the support frame buffer /dev/fb1
In the last version 5.3.1 installed in Ubuntu 20.04 it's not created.
Without the /dev/fb1 is not possible to set up a multihead system with loginctl.

  19. Ubuntu 20.04 on MacBook Pro

I upgraded from 18.04 and I couldn't get DisplayLink to work for several hours. I the end it I found I had to power-cycle the dock, and now all is OK

(Except: this crept in during a kernel update on the previous OS -- If I disable the laptop's display, everything becomes really sluggish, so I keep it on)

  20. MacMini M1 with 11.2.2 (Bigsur) Displaylink not working

Working with a Mac Mini M1 with Bigsur installed (11.2.2) with Displaylink 1.3 without success.
The system works well with 2 monitors. I've tried several combinations: Using one hub and even using the USB-C port from a Blackmagic Ultrastudio mini. All connections from the Hub work (if only two monitors connected). Experimented with many different monitors and adapters USB-C -> VGA / USB-C -> HDMI / USB-C -> DVI. The displaylink is approved in the Privacy Settings (recording and acessibility).
Tried also installing displaylink on a macbook intel and it seems that it does not work also. Although macbook intel…
