Traveling by car from Venice to the surrounding area
My partner and I are flying to Venice for the first time, but we want to visit not only the city center, but also the surrounding area — for example, Verona, Padua, or the small towns near Lake Garda. I am concerned that renting a car in Venice will be difficult due to traffic restrictions in the historic part of the city, and I have heard that parking is also a problem. I am wondering whether it is better to rent a car immediately after arrival or to spend a few days in Venice on foot and then pick up…

Commerce Without Gravity
Legacy platforms often feel heavy—every update slow, every experiment risky. Modern brands need freedom to move, test, and scale without friction. Headless architecture unlocks that freedom by separating frontend creativity from backend stability, allowing teams to innovate independently. DigitalSuits helps businesses with switching to headless commerce, improving performance, flexibility, and scalability for modern e-commerce stores. Their approach focuses on seamless migration, zero data loss, and optimized speed across devices. With custom integrations, future-ready architecture, and performance-first development, businesses gain faster load times, easier scaling, and the power to adapt instantly to market shifts—without rebuilding from scratch.

Hi everyone
Hi everyone, I'm facing a persistent and difficult multi-factor issue with DisplayLink Manager on my Mac that
seems to involve macOS security features, driver behavior, and potential USB host controller compatibility. I’ve boiled it down to the points below and would appreciate any deep diagnostics or testing ideas:
Environments tested:
• macOS Sequoia 15.x and Tahoe 16.x on Apple Silicon (M1/M3 Snow Rider 2) — similar symptoms across both.
• Multiple docks (USB-C and Thunderbolt variants).
• Dual / triple monitor setups via DisplayLink.
Is there an official Apple-signed entitlement bundle or kext requirement (beyond Screen Recording) for persistent…1 vote -
True HDR & 10-bit Color with Per-Monitor ICC Color Management (Windows / macOS / Linux/Wayland)
Please add full HDR (HDR10/HLG) and 10-bit color support to DisplayLink pipelines, with per-monitor ICC color management across Windows, macOS, and Linux/Wayland. Today many DisplayLink setups are effectively SDR/8-bit, leading to banding and inaccurate colors for creators and analysts. Proposed capabilities: (1) end-to-end 10-bit path with HDR metadata passthrough and correct EDID handling; (2) OS-level integration so each DisplayLink monitor can use its own ICC profile (including factory LUTs); (3) a simple on/off toggle with automatic SDR↔HDR switching and safe fallback; (4) minimal added latency and no reduction of max resolution/refresh vs current support. This would unlock accurate color work…

Unleash Your Inner Child (or Just Let Off Some Steam) with Kick the Buddy
Ever had one of those days? You know, the kind where everything seems to go wrong, and you just need to... well, do something? Instead of taking it out on your keyboard (please don't!), why not try a surprisingly cathartic little game called kick the buddy? I'm not talking about any kind of real-world violence, of course. I'm talking about the digital ragdoll that absorbs all your virtual aggression.
This isn't a game that demands skill or strategy. It's a simple, silly, and sometimes strangely satisfying way to blow off steam. Think of it as a digital stress ball…1 vote -
Old Macbook Pro
I realize there may not be much beyond “upgrade.” I have an older MacBook Pro (mid-2012) with two USB-A ports and two Thunderbolt (2) ports. I’m using a Dell D6000 dock that connects via USB-C (with an included USB-C to USB-A adapter).
The Mac seems to work with the dock—keyboard, mouse, etc. are all functional, and I can drive two external 1080p displays. However, the performance is poor: the mouse is laggy, window movement is jittery, and interactions generally feel choppy. My hunch is that the connection bandwidth available through the dock/adapter path isn’t sufficient.
Is there anything I can…

Common Mistakes Drivers Make with Car Oil Changes in Dubai
Dubai's climate, traffic patterns, and long driving distances place extra stress on vehicle engines. While a car oil change may seem like a simple routine task, many drivers unknowingly make mistakes that reduce engine life, affect performance, and increase repair costs. In a city where high temperatures are the norm, engine oil plays a critical role in cooling, lubrication, and overall engine protection.
Service My Car regularly assists Dubai drivers who face engine issues caused by improper oil change practices. Understanding the most common mistakes drivers make with car oil changes in Dubai can help vehicle owners avoid unnecessary damage and…

Trouble with Multiple Monitors on Windows 11 Using DisplayLink Dock
I recently got a DisplayLink docking station to connect two external monitors to my laptop running Windows 11. The dock seems to work fine for charging and connecting USB devices, but I’m running into issues with the monitors. One monitor works perfectly, but the second one either flickers or isn’t detected at all. Geometry Vibes

Make driver updates happen automatically, regardless of whether a dock is attached or not.
At my helm is a sizable Windows 10 client infrastructure. We prefer to keep drivers informed. I would prefer to have the most recent driver installed on a displaylink (DL) dock when I connect to it. To the best of my knowledge, this is not how things are done nowadays.
Nowadays, when a computer connects to a DL dock, the driver is automatically enabled. If Windows Update checks for updates, it will update your DL driver. assumion that driver updates are enabled and that a more recent driver is accessible.Envision a world where I could skip the Windows update…

Switching from Windows to Linux for Development — Worth the Long-Term Move?
After years of using Windows for work, I’m seriously considering migrating fully to Linux for software development. The Among Us constant updates, built-in ads, and background telemetry on Windows are getting frustrating. I’ve heard Linux offers cleaner workflows, better resource control, and great flexibility for coding and automation — especially when using tools like Docker and Git.
For those who made the switch from Windows to Linux:
– How was your transition in terms of productivity and daily workflow?
– Did you run into any hardware or software limitations?
– And do you think Linux is sustainable as your main…1 vote
