Make it compatible with resolution 1720 x 1440
I have a Philips screen with the resolution 3440 x 1440. It has the capability to use "Picture By Picture (PBP)" in which you can use two connections and split the screen in half. Then the resolution is 1720 x 1440 for each screen. My Macbook Pro M1 recognizes the resolution natively on one half of the screen, but on the other half the Displaylink does not render the resolution correctly.

It could help anybody.. I have another laptop - thinkbook xxx with two usb-c ports. I connected first port by HDMI->docstation->usb-c and second port with display by the DP->usb-c cabel. It works for me. But it doesn't solve my problem with mac m1.

As I understood, the resolution 1720x1440 works over by hdmi only. But it doesn't work over by DisplayPort. I tried to plug display without PBP feature and saw it. HDMI worked correctly with this resolutions, DP - not.
