See all dockingstations of same type as same device
Hi!
We have installed a multitude of workstations with the same type of DisplayLink docking station. When moving from one station to another, the monitor settings are "forgotten" and the new Dell D6000 is seen as a completely new device, and new drivers and settings for monitors, network and usb are needed to be configured.
Therefore I suggest making it possible to have the driver think that all docks of the same type is also the same device. This will make this problem go away.
Thanks

Support Ubuntu 17.04
Ubuntu 17.04 is not supported. I'm using a Dell D6000 docking station.
Network and USBs work, but headphones, monitors don't.Also the current release cannot be installed without disabling Secure Boot.

not atrociously lag the display link connected monitor when CPU isnt 100% used
If I compile anything in visual studio (not using parallel compilation) the CPU doesnt exceed 30% usage, but the display link connected monitor lags the mouse by 0.3 seconds. Its like playing HalfLife on a 33.6k modem, getting 3-5 frames per second.
There is no reason for this when there is plenty of CPU available.

package ubuntu software properly
Packaging of ubuntu drivers into a .zip file with a name containing lots of spaces, which unzips into the current folder instead of a subfolder, and then requires the manual execution of an installer script (which may as well be called setup.exe), makes ubuntu users feel like we are running Windows again, and reminds us why we hated it so much. Ubuntu offers a superior packaging format (the .deb package), and a repository model which offers streamlined installation, and automatic updates forever. Setting up a repository for your software and packaging it properly will take very little more effort than…

Allow gamma custom ranges in the Ubuntu driver to allow for night time color changes software to work (f.lux, Redshift, etc...)
Gamma color calibration seems to be unavailable for the Displaylink on Ubuntu.
Allowing it will enable night time screen color changing software to work and also allow manual customization with xrandr commands.17 votes -
Support Night Shift and f.lux for Mac OS
As documented, there is work underway for Windows to support f.lux. However, I haven't seen any clear communication that support Night Shift of f.lux on Mac OS is in the works as neither are supported via DisplayLink. It would be really nice to have these options on Mac.

Highsierra compatible
Please make the usb driver highsierra (macOS 10.13) compatible! At the moment, I can see my mouse, moving on the monitor, everything other than that is just black. It would be bvery nice if I could use this monitor on highsierra!

Charging via DisplayLink to device information
Can you please review/update your information surrounding Android vs USB-C vs DisplayLink vs Charging? There is lots of conflicting information around this online (mostly on your site!) - most referring to periods pre-2016.
It is hard to ascertain if a DisplayLink device is a solution to my consumer scenario/issue at home.
