  2. Enable Driver update Automatically even when a dock is not connected.

I manage a large Windows 10 client environment. We like to keep drivers up to date. When i connect to a displaylink (DL) dock i want the latest driver already there. This is not how it works today in my understanding.
Today when a pc makes connection to a DL dock the driver is enabled and if windows update happens to come along and check for updates it will update your DL Driver. assuming there a newer driver available and driver updates is enabled.

What if i didn't need to wait for windows update. Why can't have a scheduled task…

  3. Icon following macOS Big Sur and later guidelines

Since macOS Big Sur, Apple recommends a square shape for icons instead of the round shape of previous versions.
Is it possible to upgrade your icon ?

  4. Add Network detection like Kensington DockWorks

Please add network settings to Display-Link Software, so that Kensington DockWorks functionality is available for all Docking Stations:

    • disable WiFi when connecting to a Docking Station with Ethernet Connection
    • Passthrough MAC-Adress from the WiFi-Adpter to the Eth-Adapter in the Dock, so that the same IP-Adress can be used and all network cennections don't need to be reconfigured
    • Enable WiFi again when Dock is disconnected

  5. Interface dex mode deskop and hz.

That the app had its own desktop interface (as does Samsung's dex mode or Motorola's ready for)

In addition to that, it would also be good to implement changing the resolution to HD or Full HD.
or 30 or 60 hz change
    (for games mostly)

  6. Make it compatible with resolution 1720 x 1440

I have a Philips screen with the resolution 3440 x 1440. It has the capability to use "Picture By Picture (PBP)" in which you can use two connections and split the screen in half. Then the resolution is 1720 x 1440 for each screen. My Macbook Pro M1 recognizes the resolution natively on one half of the screen, but on the other half the Displaylink does not render the resolution correctly.

  8. Windows 11 : with latest nvidia drivers, monitos does not work.

    Hi, it's Emir

    Firstly, my setup :
"monster" make "monster tulpar t7 v21.7" gamin laptop
    RTX 3060 Notebook gpu
    GQeem T4801 docking station

  9. MacOS BigSur - M1 support: works great, but it would be really helpful to have the "looks like 2560x1440" option available for 4K resolution

use now a DisplayLink capable hub to use an 2nd external monitor on a M1 MacBook..

works great, but on that screen I can only choose between "Looks like 1920x1080" or the full 4K resolution - which is not really good to read on that monitor.....

Would be really great, if the "Looks like 2560x1440" resolution (scaling of UI) would be supported in one of the following updates.....

Would be great to have HiDPI support for all display resolutions the M1 Macs support for the 1st external monitor

  10. Publish DisplayLink Android app in the Sunmi App store

Sunmi has it's own app store (https://www.sunmi.com/en-US/appstore/) with lot's of apps. The sunmi devices have a wide range of business devices (point of sale, signature).

It would be great, if there is a official DisplayLink available. Currently there is only a unfficial app available and not available for all devices.

  11. For batter performance, I suggest that Enable Recognized resolution 5120 X 2880 when choose the 2560x1440 Hidpi Resolution. Currently,

For batter performance, I suggest that

Enable Recognized resolution 5120 X 2880 when choose the 2560x1440 Hidpi Resolution.

Currently, when Using HIDPI Mode , It recognized 6016X3384 resolution on Mac info, regardless of when choose 3008x1692 or 2560x1440(looks like)

It make Low Performance on overall Mac.

    Thanks for reading. :)

  16. Allow selecting which monitor to use when connected to android device

I have a D3100. My Samsung Android tablet seems to select the first available display among my multiple monitors, which is not always the optimal monitor to use.

  18. macOS Multi User Support

When logged in as one user and I switch to another user in macOS, the DisplayLink driver loses all connectivity to my external monitors.

My use case is family members each having their own user on the laptop.

The current workaround is to open the lid, exit clamshell mode and manually start DisplayLink Manager, even though it is already in the top menu bar.

This happens everytime when switching between logged in users.

  19. Could you change "Your screen is observed" to something else?

I got users (macOS) who are thinking that the organization is monitoring them. I have to explain to them that it is the docking station that's getting a wake up call from the laptop.

Maybe "DisplayLink is waiting for response..." or something...
