DisplayLink Manager app auto-start on MacOS 10.15.7
I have been trying to get the new 1.2 display link graphics driver to work with my MBP Catalina10.5.7 and my Asus MB168+ monitor. I stumbled over the fact that it doesn't seem to auto open the driver unless you manually open it in Applications. Might be worth looking at ?

Could you change "Your screen is observed" to something else?
I got users (macOS) who are thinking that the organization is monitoring them. I have to explain to them that it is the docking station that's getting a wake up call from the laptop.
Maybe "DisplayLink is waiting for response..." or something...

Signed driver would be very helpful
Please consider providing officially signed DisplayLink drivers to avoid disabling signature enforcement during install. This would improve security and user experience, especially for daily setups like Slope Rider. Thanks!

Geometry Dash Lite is a popular arcade platform game that challenges players with fast reflexes and precise timing. In the game, players control a small geometric cube that automatically moves forward through colorful levels filled with spikes, gaps, and moving obstacles. The main goal is simple: jump at the right moment and avoid crashing into hazards.
What makes Geometry Dash Lite unique is its rhythm-based gameplay. Each level is synchronized with energetic electronic music, and the rhythm helps guide players through the obstacles. As the music speeds up, the difficulty of the level also increases, making the experience more intense…

Save window layout per dock configuration — windows scatter every time I reconnect
I run three 4K monitors through a DisplayLink dock at work — two for our data dashboards, one for Slack and email. Every time my laptop wakes from sleep or I unplug for a meeting, all the windows end up piled on the laptop screen and I have to drag everything back manually. We're in the middle of building out a centralized data lake for our analytics team (I've been following the planning steps on https://cobit-solutions.com/en/services/data-lake-consulting-services/) and the number of monitoring panels is about to triple. A "save and restore layout per dock" feature would save me 10 minutes…

Feature Suggestion for Better Multi-Display Support for Smart TV Streaming
Hello DisplayLink Team and Community,
As more users rely on multiple displays for both work and entertainment, I would like to suggest improvements that could enhance the experience of streaming content across DisplayLink-connected devices.
Many users today connect laptops to external monitors, TVs, and docking stations through DisplayLink technology. While productivity remains the primary use case, there is also growing demand for smooth media playback and content streaming on larger screens. This is especially important for households and remote workers who use the same setup for work during the day and entertainment in the evening.
A useful enhancement would be…

Feature Suggestion: Add a Simple Dashboard for Streaming & Media Device Compatibility
Hi everyone,
I would like to suggest adding a simple compatibility dashboard that shows whether a connected monitor, dock, or adapter is working correctly with popular streaming and media devices. This could save users a lot of time when setting up multiple displays or troubleshooting display issues.
For users who regularly test different streaming solutions, having a clear compatibility reference would be very helpful. I recently came across https://atlasproofficiel.shop/ while comparing streaming-related setups, and it reminded me how useful a centralized compatibility guide could be.
I think this feature would improve the overall user experience and reduce common support questions.…

How Do You Choose a Paint by Numbers Kit When There Are Too Many Options?
I spent almost an hour looking for a paint by numbers kit yesterday and somehow ended up even more undecided than when I started. There are landscapes, city scenes, flowers, animals... after a while everything starts to blur together. Then I noticed the best sellers section on https://www.paintbynumbers-adults.com/collections/best-sellers, and I figured that's probably where people like me should start instead of randomly opening dozens of different collections. At least those designs seem to be the ones many people actually chose. For those who have been painting for a while, do you usually pick the most popular kits first, or…

Best practices for a stable dual-monitor DisplayLink setup?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently using a DisplayLink USB-C docking station with two external monitors on a Windows laptop, and overall the experience has been good. However, I'd like to optimize the setup for better stability and long-term reliability.
I'm interested in hearing what has worked best for others.
A few questions:
Do you keep DisplayLink drivers updated as soon as new versions are released, or do you stay on an older stable version?
Have you noticed any differences in performance between USB-C and Thunderbolt connections?
Are there any Windows power management settings that help prevent monitor disconnects after sleep or…2 votes -
to integrate a PAUSE function into your firmware, that freezes the displayed content anc can eb activated/de-activated by keyboard.
Freeze functions on classical projectors were very popular, in particular for people facilitating workshops or holding seminars. With the introduction of LCD screens this feature disappeared. Display link could easily re-introduce this. Ideally, hitting a (user-definable) key combination would turn PAUSE on and off. In addition the status (frozen / unfrozen) should be displayed with the application icon.
Please go ahead :-)

Ultrawide resolutions on Android
HI! I really love this app, truly works like a charm. I have a galaxy S8 and an ultrawide monitor. Unfortunately the app only transmints in 16:9 so there are black edges all around the image, even up and down. It would be really nice to fix it, but still, this is a great app. Hope it gets in soon. Good luck!
1 voteCorrection: limitation today is not in DisplayLink application but Android which limits to clone mode. Phones not being Ultrawide means that even at 1080p (the max resolution we have enabled today), we are unable to fill the screen.
