I run three 4K monitors through a DisplayLink dock at work — two for our data dashboards, one for Slack and email. Every time my laptop wakes from sleep or I unplug for a meeting, all the windows end up piled on the laptop screen and I have to drag everything back manually. We're in the middle of building out a centralized data lake for our analytics team (I've been following the planning steps on https://cobit-solutions.com/en/services/data-lake-consulting-services/) and the number of monitoring panels is about to triple. A "save and restore layout per dock" feature would save me 10 minutes a day at this point.
