  1. Update documentation for disabling PageFlip on Ubuntu

    The documentation at https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1181623-displaylink-ubuntu-driver-after-recent-x-upgrades suggests creating a configuration file in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d, however configuration in this directory may be ignored in favor of user-specific config at /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d.   2. Wacom display tablet on Android

    Using a DisplayLink dock I have connected a Wacom One Display Tablet to a Google Pixel 3a mobile running Android 12. I have used both the DisplayLink Presenter and Desktop app. The display works however, the stylus input, while recognized, is not calibrated for both portrait and landscape. When using a mouse, the pointer is displayed on the mobile screen but, not the external display.

  3. switch synch rate 30 -> 60

    I found this fixed my issue. The resolution was 4k'is and refresh rate was 30hz. I suspect this is due to limited resources based on my particular hardware setup. In any case switching from 30hz to 60hz also reduced the resolution to half of what it was. This was a win-win in my case as I didn't need/want 4k. I do have a pretty old machine and I am pumping this all through USB3 so probably a resource issue and then the slow refresh confused my considerably, compared to PC, newer HDMI --> TV <-- .   4. Allow selecting which monitor to use when connected to android device

    I have a D3100. My Samsung Android tablet seems to select the first available display among my multiple monitors, which is not always the optimal monitor to use.

  6. Display-link drivers breaks network connection

    Hey guys,

    I'm facing an weird issue while I'm using the model-6950z.

    Somehow my Wi-Fi drivers stops to work =/
    I'm currently using the latest version of the drivers.

  7. Icon following macOS Big Sur and later guidelines

    Since macOS Big Sur, Apple recommends a square shape for icons instead of the round shape of previous versions.
    Is it possible to upgrade your icon ?

  8. Displaylink driver for Ubuntu + Nvidia - Support for monitors in portrait

    Vertical monitors with Ubuntu and Displaylink drivers is not well supported. Especially with NVIDIA drivers installed. I am using the current latest version of Tuxedo OS (TUXEDO-OS-2-202305301020).
    Vertical monitors fail to display properly and leave behind a mouse cursor when moving from external monitor to monitor.

  10. Fix Autostart DisplayLink Manager

    I tried to apply the setting for autostart for macOS, it didn't work: https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1964953-enabling-disabling-displaylink-manager-autostart-v

    I had to apply a configuration profile in Jamf with a Login Items and Managed Login Items payloads to get this to work. In the Login Items i added: /Applications/DisplayLink Manager.app/ and in Managed Login Items i added the Team Identifier: 73YQY62QM3

    Please fix the issue or updated your documentation for how to officially enable and disable autostart.

  12. display link does not activate screens since updating to MacOs 14

    since macos 14, maybe later, i have to activate displaylink every day to see my 2 other screens. i have to toggle the display toggle and rotation on/off, once done, monitors come on.

  13. make your drivers work with MacOs, or dont sell them!

    Why is it after purchsing two of your devices I still can't get my MBP to recognise there's a thunderbolt device attached (says only USB 3.1) and rather than show an extended screen, it blinks on and off (both screens) and chimes a particularly noxious chime? I didn't pay too much money for this device, which has never heard of PnP and cannot find a KEXT at all.

  14. Last version of DP Presenter for Android (4.2.x) is sluggish!!

    Version 4.0.x worked fine, even if resolution was limited. The new version is sluggish as hell (I am using a 3840x2160 monitor, but I don't care about hi-res, I want a usable experience).
    Please fix or, if anything, add a setting in the app to set a maximum resolution.

  15. Support for 4k displaymode 1920x1280

    Please add display resolution support for BenQ 4k developer displays:
    https://www.benq.com/en-us/monitor/programming.html
    https://www.benq.com/en-us/monitor/programming/rd280u.html

    The RD280U has a native display resolution of 3840x2560, which is
    a 4K resolution of 1920x1280.

    The DisplayLink driver 1.11 (macOS) currently only supports
    1920x1080 and 1920x1440.

    1920x1280 is missing.

  17. Allow sharing of multiple screens for NDI Scan Converter

    I think this is a DisplayLink limitation, but just installed a Startech 102B multilink for 2 x HDMI extended displays on an M2 Macbook Pro. Displays work great, but unable to send both to NDI Tools Scan Converter. Can only do one or the other. Need to present both a powerpoint slide (extended display 1) and notes (extended display 2). thank you for your consideration!

  19. DisplayLink on Steam Deck or Handheld PCs – Anyone Tried It?

    Hey everyone,
    I’ve been experimenting with portable setups lately and was wondering — has anyone successfully used DisplayLink on a Steam Deck (or similar handheld PCs like the ROG Ally or Ayaneo)? I'm curious if it's stable enough to run multiple external monitors via USB-C when docked.

    A few questions to get the ball rolling:
    1. Did the DisplayLink drivers install properly on SteamOS or did you have to switch to Windows?
    2. How’s the performance — any input lag or graphical glitches?

    On a side note — I tried running Geometry Dash
    on one of the external displays just…

  20. Netflix, HBO Max not working with latest Displaylink v 13 on Macos Ventura

    Just upgraded the Displaylnk driver v 13.0 Build 33 for Macos Ventura v 13.7.6 and neither Netflix nor HBO Max are working correctly, Videos just won't show up, sound works though, I've tried on the latest Chrome Version 138.0.7204.184 and Firefox 141.0. Disabling Displaylink or quitting the app is the only way to have both platforms to work. I've also tried unistalling Displaylink an reinstalling but no luck. I'm using the Plugable UD-3900Z with 2 HD external monitors.
