MacOS: Menu bar switch for activating / deactivating the driver
There are several occasions when I have to quit the DisplayLink driver app e.g. when I want to watch copy protected video content. Under MacOS there is a DisplayLink Icon in the menu bar. In order to temporarily disable the DisplayLink driver I have to quit the app. After that I have to start the driver all over again. That's not handsome.
Suggestion:
Simple possibility to activate and deactivate the driver via the DisplayLink menu icon: New entries "Suspend DisplayLink driver" or "Resume DisplayLink driver".
Possbility to manage a list of apps: As soon as one of those apps will be started the driver will be suspended. As soon as the last one of the managed apps is closed the driver will be resumed.

That kind of flexibility in user control reminds me of how clear and accessible design improves overall experience, similar to how the sonic breakfast menu with prices at https://usamenuhub.com/sonic-breakfast-menu/ makes it easy to decide what to order without extra steps. Having quick access to enable or disable the DisplayLink driver from the menu bar would give users the same kind of smooth, intuitive control—no unnecessary clicks or restarts, just simple functionality that respects convenience.
