5. What caused you to finally ditch Windows/MacOS and switch to Linux?

   I became fed up with Windows 11 because of bloatware, AI crapware, and my concern of telemetry and my privacy. Around November/December 2024, I finally made the decision to switch. I ended up choosing Linux Mint, and stayed on Linux ever since. I'm using Arch as of now, and it's somehow much stabler then Windows. I will never make the switch back geometry dash, under any circumstances. What what was the last straw for you?

    Hey everyone, I’ve been using a MacBook for a few years, and I have to admit I love the standard apps like Mail, Calendar, and Keynote. The M-series CPU performance is phenomenal, especially for creative work and casual gaming like a quick round of orbit kick during breaks.

    At the same time, as a developer, Linux has so many advantages: better window management, seamless Docker usage without a VM, and endless customization. I’m curious if anyone here has made the switch between macOS and Linux, and how you feel about it after the transition.

    For me, I enjoy both worlds: macOS for polished everyday use (and even kicking a ball into orbit in Orbit Kick ) and Linux for heavy development. Windows isn’t really an option due to all the ads and privacy concerns, plus I don’t game much outside of casual titles like Orbit Kick.

18. Windows 11: My monitor is not working with the most recent Nvidia drivers.

    First things first, here's my setup: "monster" make "aryond" two monitors, "monster tulpar t7 v21.7" gaming laptop, RTX 3060 Notebook GPU, GQeem T4801 docking station.

    Secondly, here's the rub: my OS of choice has been Windows 10. And it was perfectly nice with everything. Then I'll have to upgrade to Windows 11, so here it is.
    Initially, Windows 11 worked fine for me, but after installing a certain version of the Nvidia drivers, I am unable to utilize my displays. If I want to keep using the most recent drivers for my displaylink configuration, I'll have to resort to the "512" rollback driver.

    The third thing I did was try to get in touch with Microsoft and Nvidia on this issue. The problem, however, has no clear answer.
    Nothing has worked after trying a plethora of drivers from the displaylinks download page.
    The issue persists despite my best efforts to update my system drivers to the most recent version.
    It is my intention to format.

    I would greatly appreciate it if you could lend me a hand.
