In addition, the National Championship season, which will start in January, will be packed with regular-season games that will feature the twelve bowl teams that were announced earlier. A total of eight teams will compete on the non-conference schedule, with the best four Retro Bowl teams receiving automatic invitations to participate in the bowl games. Following the conclusion of the regular season, we will participate in the regional tournaments in order to determine which four teams will be selected to compete in the bowl games. Typically, these regional tournaments are comprised of four teams from each major conference competing against one another in a tournament with a single elimination to determine the champions of the respective regional division.
