  3. Are there any new SystemDisplay modules or macOS APIs that could be conflicting with DisplayLink Manager after the update?

After updating to macOS Sequoia 15.4.x on a MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon), the DisplayLink adapter used in the docking station starts normally and both monitors are detected, but after ~30–90 seconds of operation, the secondary monitor loses signal ("No Monitor Snow Rider") even though DisplayLink Manager is still running. Unplugging and replugging the cable sometimes restores the signal, but only for a short time. This behavior is repeatable on two different docking/adapter models. Are there any new SystemDisplay modules or macOS APIs that could be conflicting with DisplayLink Manager after the update?

  5. Add per-monitor scaling & independent refresh rate control

Hello DisplayLink team, SoFlo Wheelie Life

I would like to suggest adding per-monitor scaling and independent refresh rate control within the DisplayLink software.

Many of us use mixed monitor setups (for example, a 4K laptop screen with 1080p or ultrawide external displays). Right now, Windows often forces the same scaling behavior across multiple DisplayLink monitors, which results in blurry text or inconsistent UI sizes. Native GPU outputs already support per-monitor DPI scaling very well, but DisplayLink outputs do not always behave the same way.

It would be extremely helpful if DisplayLink Manager could:

  6. Displaylink driver support for ubuntu 25.10

I recently updated my laptop to ubuntu 25.10 from 25.04. After the update, my DisplayLink dock doesn't connect my screen anymore. The keyboard and mouse connected to the dock work, but not the screen.
The drivers page shows official support only until Ubuntu 24.04, which is 1.5 years old now. It would be nice to have support for more recent versions.

    Operating System: Kubuntu 25.10
    Kernel Version: 6.17.0-6-generic (64-bit)
    Graphics Platform: Wayland
    Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics

  7. Integrated Bandwidth Monitoring Dashboard

Add a simple monitoring tool within DisplayLink Manager to show real-time USB or network bandwidth usage. This would help users identify performance bottlenecks when connecting multiple high-resolution displays or peripherals. The visual smoothness in slope rider is further enhanced by motion blur effects and soft lighting transitions that give a sense of seamless velocity.

  12. Suggestion: Automatic Screen On/Off Timer

    Hello DisplayLink team,

I would like to suggest an automatic screen-on/off timer feature based on working hours or usage habits. This will help save power and protect the screen's lifespan when using a multi-monitor setup.

  15. Benefits and Practical Applications of DisplayLink

One of the key advantages of DisplayLink is its ability to simplify multi-monitor setups without requiring a dedicated graphics upgrade. This makes it ideal for modern ultrabooks and thin laptops that lack multiple video outputs. Through compatible docking stations, users can connect keyboards, mice, Ethernet, audio devices, and several external displays using a single USB connection, creating a clean and efficient workspace.

  16. Anyone here switched from Linux to macOS? How was it?

Hey everyone, I’m seriously considering switching from Linux to macOS as my main system and I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually done it.

I’ve been using Arch for a while and I really enjoy the freedom and control it gives. At the same time, I’m drawn to the hardware quality of MacBooks Bro Games the battery life, silence, and how polished everything feels.

For those who made the jump: how was the transition? Did you find macOS’s Unix-like environment comfortable, or did it feel too restrictive compared to Linux? And maybe more importantly, is there anyone here who…

  20. possible lag when running multiple live casino streams on multi monitor setup

Hi everyone. I am using a multi monitor setup through DisplayLink mainly for live casino sessions where I keep several things open at the same time. On one screen I run one or two live table streams in high quality, on another I monitor statistics and game history, and on a third I review bonus offers and compare terms on different review sites such as https://onlinecasinovelemenyek.com/. At the same time I keep my account page open to track balance changes and active promotions. So in practice I always have multiple video streams plus several dynamic browser tabs…
