Are there any new SystemDisplay modules or macOS APIs that could be conflicting with DisplayLink Manager after the update?

After updating to macOS Sequoia 15.4.x on a MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon), the DisplayLink adapter used in the docking station starts normally and both monitors are detected, but after ~30–90 seconds of operation, the secondary monitor loses signal ("No Monitor Snow Rider") even though DisplayLink Manager is still running. Unplugging and replugging the cable sometimes restores the signal, but only for a short time. This behavior is repeatable on two different docking/adapter models. Are there any new SystemDisplay modules or macOS APIs that could be conflicting with DisplayLink Manager after the update?

I would like to suggest adding per-monitor scaling and independent refresh rate control within the DisplayLink software.

Many of us use mixed monitor setups (for example, a 4K laptop screen with 1080p or ultrawide external displays). Right now, Windows often forces the same scaling behavior across multiple DisplayLink monitors, which results in blurry text or inconsistent UI sizes. Native GPU outputs already support per-monitor DPI scaling very well, but DisplayLink outputs do not always behave the same way.

It would be extremely helpful if DisplayLink Manager could:

Allow manual DPI scaling per DisplayLink monitor

Allow independent refresh rate selection per monitor

Store and restore these settings when docks are reconnected

This would greatly improve usability for developers, designers, and anyone using multi-monitor DisplayLink setups for long working sessions.

Displaylink driver support for ubuntu 25.10

I recently updated my laptop to ubuntu 25.10 from 25.04. After the update, my DisplayLink dock doesn't connect my screen anymore. The keyboard and mouse connected to the dock work, but not the screen.
The drivers page shows official support only until Ubuntu 24.04, which is 1.5 years old now. It would be nice to have support for more recent versions.

Last version of DP Presenter for Android (4.2.x) is sluggish!!

Version 4.0.x worked fine, even if resolution was limited. The new version is sluggish as hell (I am using a 3840x2160 monitor, but I don't care about hi-res, I want a usable experience).
Please fix or, if anything, add a setting in the app to set a maximum resolution.

After updating to macOS Sequoia 15.4.x on a MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon), the DisplayLink adapter used in the docking station starts normally and both monitors are detected, but after ~30–90 seconds of operation, the secondary monitor loses signal ("No Monitor Snow Rider") even though DisplayLink Manager is still running. Unplugging and replugging the cable sometimes restores the signal, but only for a short time. This behavior is repeatable on two different docking/adapter models. Consensus on Mac Mini M4 Pro thermal issues

I am thinking about buying either a Mac Mini M4 Pro or Studio. Besides general use cases such as browsing, office, coding, etc., I want to be able to use it for hobby music production (including orchestral sample libraries), light gaming (Baldur's Gate 3 is fine for me) and running LLMs locally (I am realistic here what is possible to achieve Geometry Dash Bloodbath. Thus M4 Pro/Studio with at least 36/48GB memory are set. But honestly, 48GB would be better for the future. The CPUs will all be fast enough, I tend to think I should at least go for the 20-core GPU option with the M4 Pro, though.

I had many Apple laptops over the years that I used in professional settings, but this would be my first Apple desktop. Price/Performance-wise I see the Mini M4 Pro with 48GB of memory in a very good spot for me (especially as a refurbished one!), but what I read about the behavior under heavy load regarding temperatures and throttling really shocked me.
