Man, I feel this… Windows updates break the weirdest things. I had the exact same issue where some games suddenly decided to run on integrated graphics instead of the GPU and performance tanked for no reason. While I was digging through forums for fixes I ended up taking breaks on my phone because my laptop was basically unusable for gaming — ended up trying https://1winonline.net.ng/app/ just out of boredom and now I mostly stick to the mobile casino app when the laptop acts up. It’s kind of nice having the full casino experience on the phone — sports bets, blackjack, slots, live tables — without depending on whether the PC wants to cooperate that day.

Some laptops really get annoying after big Windows updates — the system suddenly decides the integrated GPU is “good enough” and ignores the dedicated one, so performance tanks no matter what settings you tweak. You might want to take a look at the https://1winonline.in/app/ if you enjoy betting from the same device, because the mobile version is way more stable than most desktop software I’ve tried. What I like most is that the app instantly adapts to any phone performance, loads live odds without freezing, and withdrawals go through right in the app without logging into a browser — makes the whole experience smooth even when the laptop is misbehaving.

Over the past few months playing CS2, I started noticing that the cosmetic side of the game adds a surprising layer of depth. Exploring cases like the Recoil Case at https://cs2.ad/case/recoil-case showed me how item rarity, market trends, and popularity influence what players value. Paying attention to these details changed the way I approach the game—not just as a player, but also as someone curious about the market dynamics behind skins and cases. Even without spending money, tracking these patterns can make the experience richer and more strategic, helping you make better choices when it comes to collecting, trading, or simply appreciating the variety of items available.

Hello Aaron, none of the Dell WD19 docking stations use DisplayLink technology. Therefore, the DisplayLink driver or this idea are not relevant. We recommend you contact the manufacturer, Dell, for assistance on that product.

This problem continues.
I'm using a brand new Dell 7550 with Quadro T2000, through their WD19DCS dock to a pair of Philips 231P4U displays. I'm running Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042. I just installed the latest version (10.1.2875.0) of DisplayLink direct from this website.
On the Dell that I just retired, using their traditional docking station, this setup worked perfectly. It seems that I can get the same work-around of starting Solidworks, then connecting my dock, but that's not acceptable as an ongoing behavior.

Having the same problem trying to run Zwift. Taken quite a while a many other attempted 'fixes' to isolate the problem to the display link (D3100).
Thanks to the workaround below - works for me too but good to find a proper solution (for the non-tech savy)My workaround to this problem is:
1. Disconnect Display Link USB - laptop internet connectivity through wifi
2. Start the program from the laptop screen
3. After the program is started connect the display link USB againIn my case the programs start on the laptop and keep working when I connect the display link monitors again.

Was trying to run Enscape 2.9 with Revit 2019. Both would crash when staring the rendering (while connected to dock - Dell D6000). I remember previous DisplayLink issues I had last year when updating Windows 10 (which lead me to this tread), so I tested running the rendering again, but with the laptop NOT being connected to dock. Sure enough, it ran and had no crashing issues. I have also submitted a ticket and uploaded log files to Enscape for them to research on their end. Strangely enough, in their log files it looked to them like I was running RDP because I was connected to the dock.

Same Problem with Lenovo Notebook L480 (Windows 10 20H2) and Basic DockingStation. DisplayPort cannot link the monitor. Looks like a Windows Issue. Alternative Notebook (Windows 10 2004) works properly. Maybe driver issue?!??

I have the same problem. I have a Dell G5 5500 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, based on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Version 20H2 Build 19042.630. It is connected to a Philips 273V5 through a Plugable UD-3900. DisplayLink driver version is 9.2.2420.0. The system cannot link the monitor to the NVIDIA GPU. Photoshop does not work properly.

Just bought one Targus dock to use with 2x27" screens and I can't play any game... I can't even open nvidia control panel because it says no display is using an nvidia gpu.. Even if I force the bios to not use integrated, I still face the same issue...
I have already installed the latest windows updates, intel and nvidia drivers and the latest DisplayLink Manager...
If I open my laptop screen I can see the nvidia control panel and play whatever game I want with the Nvidia GPU.
if I close my laptop screen and leave only the 2 connected 27" screens, Nvidia control panel says none of the screens is using it's GPU (even forcing on BIOS to use it).
WORKAROUND: Managed to get a workaround by connecting 1 screen to the HDMI port of the laptop and the other to the dock. (Now it works fine and I'm able to play any game on the 2 screens (go figure)).

Unfortunately Microsoft's implementation of multi GPU handling is, quite frankly, piss poor - and I am still unable to use my D6000 effectively.
Not only do I have to define each application I want to use with my high performance GPU, however whatever way the D6000 and Windows are talking to each other, Nvidia's control panel informs me that it cannot open because I don't have a display connected with an Nvidia GPU.
The issue seems twofold here - one being that Microsoft do not allow a system-wide declaration of "Use my good GPU", and secondly I need to have a display physically connected to my laptop for Nvidia to consider the GPU to be connected.
I've once again had to revert to a HDMI cable directly connected to the laptop to get more than 10FPS in my games sadly :-(
