Thinking About Getting a Smart AC Controller — Any Real Experiences?
Hey folks!
I’ve been thinking about upgrading my old AC setup a bit. I keep seeing people mention that a smart AC controller can make a big difference in comfort and energy use, so now I’m curious.
I came across this one — https://sensibo.com/
— and it looks pretty decent at first glance, but I’m not sure what to expect in real life.Has anyone here actually used something like this? Did it really improve your day-to-day comfort or is it just another “nice to have” gadget?

Thinking About Port Hope Rehab — Anyone Been There?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently looking into different treatment options and stumbled across port hope rehab. On paper it looks like a solid place, but I know real experiences matter way more than whatever is written in brochures.Has anyone here actually been there or knows someone who has?
I’m curious about what the atmosphere is like, whether the staff feels supportive, and if the program genuinely helps people stay on track long-term.Any honest insights would be super helpful. Thanks!

Question About My MacBook Experience
Hi! I really enjoy using my MacBook — it performs smoothly and handles my daily tasks well. One thing I’m curious about, though: when I connect it to my external display, the scaling sometimes looks a bit off, leaving small borders around the screen. It’s not a huge issue, but it would be amazing if this could be optimized in a future update. Just wanted to share this observation. Wishing you all the best

Question About MacBook Display Behavior
My MacBook works wonderfully overall, but I’ve noticed something odd. When I connect it to my external monitor, the scaling sometimes looks a bit off and certain apps don’t fit the screen perfectly. It’s not a big issue since everything still functions well, but it would be great if this could be improved in a future update. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix on the way? Wishing you all the best!

MacBook Performance Concern
I really enjoy using my MacBook — it runs smoothly and handles my daily tasks well. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the battery drains faster than expected, even when I’m only using a few basic apps. It’s not a major issue, but it would be great if this could be improved in a future update. Has anyone else experienced this, or knows what might be causing it? Thanks in advance

I propose adding specific low-latency optimization for certain background applications.
The main problem is that many background services cause unpredictable stability issues, even when the DisplayLink driver is working perfectly. I suggest adding specific low-latency optimization for certain background applications to ensure completely smooth operation on all displays. To be honest, I have only found one service that never has stability issues, which really proves that it is possible. This <a href="https://wildsino-online.com/">Casino Wildsino</a> guarantees instant payouts, lots of entertainment content, games, slots, and you can even top up your account with cryptocurrency, and it works perfectly regardless of my display configuration. I wish all software had this commitment to stability.

Code-sign and notarize DisplayLink Manager for macOS so it passes Gatekeeper checks and can be reinstated in Homebrew.
The DisplayLink Manager app for macOS is currently failing Apple's Gatekeeper checks due to missing code signing and notarization. This prevents smooth installation and usage for macOS users, especially those installing via Homebrew, the widely used macOS package manager.
Because of this, the DisplayLink Manager cask was deprecated and removed from Homebrew’s repository:
- GitHub Discussion (Homebrew maintainers' decision): https://github.com/orgs/Homebrew/discussions/6337
- Related PR removing the cask: https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-cask/pull/222423
Please update DisplayLink Manager for macOS so it is:
- Code-signed with a valid Apple Developer ID.
- Notarized via Apple's notary service.
Once this is done, Homebrew maintainers have indicated the cask can be reinstated, restoring…

Problems with Netflix and HBO Go on MacBook Pro with the most recent version of DisplayLink (v. 13).
I just updated the Displaylnk driver to the current version (13.7.6) for Mac OS X Ventura, and now neither Netflix nor HBO Max will work properly; the videos won't display, but the audio is fine. I've tested this in both Firefox 141.0 and Chrome 138.0.7204.184. If you want both platforms to function, you'll either have to disable Displaylink Geometry Dash or exit the app. Even after removing and reinstalling Displaylink, the problem persisted. Two high-definition external monitors are connected to my Plugable UD-3900Z.
