   That DisplayLink issue on Mac sounds really annoying, especially when desktop icons stop responding in “show desktop” mode. I’ve seen similar quirks with external display setups before, and they can be tricky to diagnose since it’s often a driver or window management conflict.

   On a different note, I’ve been using FastVPN for Mac from Namecheap, https://www.namecheap.com/vpn/mac-download/ and it’s been a smooth experience overall. It helps keep my connection stable and secure, especially when working across different networks and setups like this.
