Add Adaptive Resolution Scaling for Better Performance on High-Resolution Displays
Hello DisplayLink Team and Community,
I’ve been using DisplayLink docking stations for a while now — mainly with Incredibox game 4K and ultrawide monitors — and while the experience is generally excellent, I’ve noticed performance drops during heavy workloads or when running multiple high-resolution displays.
I’d like to suggest adding a feature that allows adaptive resolution scaling or dynamic quality adjustment based on system load. This would automatically reduce the rendered resolution (or refresh rate) temporarily to maintain smooth performance and responsiveness, especially when the CPU or GPU is under heavy stress.
For instance, when multitasking between video editing, streaming,…

Netflix, HBO Max not working with latest Displaylink v 13 on Macos Ventura
Just upgraded the Displaylnk driver v 13.0 Build 33 for Macos Ventura v 13.7.6 and neither Netflix nor HBO Max are working correctly, Videos just won't show up, sound works though, I've tried on the latest Chrome Version 138.0.7204.184 and Firefox 141.0. Disabling Displaylink or quitting the app is the only way to have both platforms to work. I've also tried unistalling Displaylink an reinstalling but no luck. I'm using the Plugable UD-3900Z with 2 HD external monitors.

What Is DisplayLink Technology Used For?
DisplayLink technology is used to connect multiple external displays to a computer through USB, allowing users to extend or mirror their screen without needing additional video ports. It is commonly used with docking stations, USB adapters, and monitors to support multi-monitor setups on laptops and desktops. DisplayLink is especially popular in office, remote work, and productivity environments because it enables easy workspace expansion with high-resolution displays using a simple plug-and-play solution.

good
I live in Perth and heard about this resource from a friend during a long bus ride when we were discussing simple games for phones. I decided to try it myself a little later. The best thing is that everything is clear right away without any unnecessary instructions or tutorials. While I was checking my work email and watching videos on YouTube, the website Level Up NZ was right there on my screen. I had a short, enjoyable session and am very pleased with how simple the process is.

Troubleshooting DisplayLink Performance Issues with Multiple Monitors
Hi all,
I’m experiencing some performance issues when using multiple monitors with DisplayLink on my setup. Everything works fine initially, but after some time, I notice significant lag and screen flickering on the extended displays. This happens primarily when I have several applications running or when I’m switching between windows frequently.

Signed driver would be very helpful
Please consider providing officially signed DisplayLink drivers to avoid disabling signature enforcement during install. This would improve security and user experience, especially for daily setups like Slope Rider. Thanks!

DisplayLink Not working after macos 15 sequoia?
Display link dual monitor setup was working perfectly before this update. Now, neither monitor is detected and no signal is being given to the monitors x trench run. Works individually without display link, so I think it's some interaction with that but not sure. lmk if anyone has a solution

The permanent activation of this software is terrible
I don't know why you guys aren't able to fix this.
Even with the latest. software version - same problem as usual. The software window pops up every second minute on Macos.
I had to kick it out. It's probably the most annoying piece of software on planet Earth.
Try to fix this. It's been reported all over the Internet since months.

Geometry Dash Lite vs. Geometry Dash Full Version: What’s Different?
In Geometry Dash Lite, customization options are limited, with only a few icons and colors available. The full version expands this significantly, offering more ways to personalize your cube, ship, and other forms. It also introduces a level editor, daily challenges, achievements, and user-created levels, which greatly extend replayability.

Anyone else thinking about switching over to Linux?
I’ve been using Macs since Snow Leopard, and over the years I’ve seen macOS go from clean and efficient to increasingly bloated and restrictive. It is almost like the 'magic' has disappeared.
Lately I have been seriously considering switching to Linux because of its lack of limitations and because I am already used to jumping though hoops to run some of the software I need. Also I figured I would not be weighed down by all the performance overhead that comes with macOS (or Windows, for that matter Geometry Dash Bloodbath ).
Anyone else in the same boat or a…

mapquest driving directions
In a world full of flashy navigation apps, is there still room for a platform that values clarity over complexity? MapQuest quietly answers yes. But what mapquest driving directions actually makes a navigation tool valuable today—endless features or dependable directions?

Do you really need an app to predict your every move, or just one that…
