  1. MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 is managing the display directly, rather than using DisplayLink Manager.

    Macbook Pro system is controlling display not Display Link Manager and can only extend to one display
    You should try block blast; the colorful interface and fun missions make it easy to get hooked.

  3. Netflix, HBO Max not working with latest Displaylink v 13 on Macos Ventura

    Just upgraded the Displaylnk driver v 13.0 Build 33 for Macos Ventura v 13.7.6 and neither Netflix nor HBO Max are working correctly, Videos just won't show up, sound works though, I've tried on the latest Chrome Version 138.0.7204.184 and Firefox 141.0. Disabling Displaylink or quitting the app is the only way to have both platforms to work. I've also tried unistalling Displaylink an reinstalling but no luck. I'm using the Plugable UD-3900Z with 2 HD external monitors.

    HDMI Not Working After macOS 15.5 (24F74) Update + DisplayLink

    Just wanted to share and escalate an issue we're seeing post-update to macOS 15.5 (Build 24F74). On an M3 Max MacBook Pro (2023), HDMI output via DisplayLink completely stopped working after the OS update.

    Setup:
    macOS 15.5 (Sequoia)
    MacBook Pro M3 Max (2023, 36GB RAM)
    Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9
    DisplayPort (left side) + HDMI (right side, DisplayLink)
    DisplayLink Manager (latest version as of posting)

    Behavior:
    DisplayPort still functions
    HDMI input via DisplayLink shows no signal
    Reinstalling DisplayLink Manager, verifying permissions (Screen Recording, Accessibility, etc.), restarting, and switching cables/ports all…

  7. DisplayLink Support for iPad under Sideloading with iPad0S 18

    Under iPad OS 18 apple promised according to the new EU law to open up iPad OS 18 for sideloading.
    Therefore it would be possible to provide alternative software circumventing the rough restrictions of the app store.
    To sum up: It should be possible to download a display link driver over a 3rd party app store on iPad.
    iPads than would support dual display via display link which would be a feature i absolutely love - and need-

  8. Enhance Installer Compatibility with Automated MDM Deployments

    In enterprise environments utilizing MDM solutions like Jamf Pro for macOS device management, software installations often occur during automated workflows such as PreStage enrollment. These installations run in a root context without an active user session. 

    Currently, the DisplayLink Manager installer includes a post-installation script that attempts to launch the application using:

    currentuser=$(/usr/bin/stat -f %Su /dev/console)
    launchctl asuser $(/usr/bin/id -u "$current    user") /usr/bin/open "/Applications/DisplayLink Manager.app"

    This approach fails when no user is logged in, leading to installation errors in automated deployment scenarios.

  10. Last version of DP Presenter for Android (4.2.x) is sluggish!!

    Version 4.0.x worked fine, even if resolution was limited. The new version is sluggish as hell (I am using a 3840x2160 monitor, but I don't care about hi-res, I want a usable experience).
    Please fix or, if anything, add a setting in the app to set a maximum resolution.

  12. Code-sign and notarize DisplayLink Manager for macOS so it passes Gatekeeper checks and can be reinstated in Homebrew.

    The DisplayLink Manager app for macOS is currently failing Apple's Gatekeeper checks due to missing code signing and notarization. This prevents smooth installation and usage for macOS users, especially those installing via Homebrew, the widely used macOS package manager.

    Because of this, the DisplayLink Manager cask was deprecated and removed from Homebrew’s repository:

    Please update DisplayLink Manager for macOS so it is:

    1. Code-signed with a valid Apple Developer ID.
    2. Notarized via Apple's notary service.

    Once this is done, Homebrew maintainers have indicated the cask can be reinstated, restoring…

  14. display link does not activate screens since updating to MacOs 14

    since macos 14, maybe later, i have to activate displaylink every day to see my 2 other screens. i have to toggle the display toggle and rotation on/off, once done, monitors come on.

  16. make your drivers work with MacOs, or dont sell them!

    Why is it after purchsing two of your devices I still can't get my MBP to recognise there's a thunderbolt device attached (says only USB 3.1) and rather than show an extended screen, it blinks on and off (both screens) and chimes a particularly noxious chime? I didn't pay too much money for this device, which has never heard of PnP and cannot find a KEXT at all.

    Please add display resolution support for BenQ 4k developer displays:

    The RD280U has a native display resolution of 3840x2560, which is
    a 4K resolution of 1920x1280.

    The DisplayLink driver 1.11 (macOS) currently only supports
    1920x1080 and 1920x1440.

    1920x1280 is missing.

  18. Allow sharing of multiple screens for NDI Scan Converter

    I think this is a DisplayLink limitation, but just installed a Startech 102B multilink for 2 x HDMI extended displays on an M2 Macbook Pro. Displays work great, but unable to send both to NDI Tools Scan Converter. Can only do one or the other. Need to present both a powerpoint slide (extended display 1) and notes (extended display 2). thank you for your consideration!

  20. Fix Autostart DisplayLink Manager

    I tried to apply the setting for autostart for macOS, it didn't work: https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1964953-enabling-disabling-displaylink-manager-autostart-v

    I had to apply a configuration profile in Jamf with a Login Items and Managed Login Items payloads to get this to work. In the Login Items i added: /Applications/DisplayLink Manager.app/ and in Managed Login Items i added the Team Identifier: 73YQY62QM3

    Please fix the issue or updated your documentation for how to officially enable and disable autostart.
