DisplayLink on Steam Deck or Handheld PCs – Anyone Tried It?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with portable setups lately and was wondering — has anyone successfully used DisplayLink on a Steam Deck (or similar handheld PCs like the ROG Ally or Ayaneo)? I'm curious if it's stable enough to run multiple external monitors via USB-C when docked.A few questions to get the ball rolling:
1. Did the DisplayLink drivers install properly on SteamOS or did you have to switch to Windows?
2. How’s the performance — any input lag or graphical glitches? On a side note — I tried running Geometry Dash
on one of the external displays just…1 vote -

Why Proxies are Essential to Manage Multiple Social Media Accounts
Hello. For marketers, influencers, or agencies, proxies act as digital shields that separate accounts, keeping them secure and untraceable to a single user or location. This is vital for scaling campaigns or managing clients without risking bans or connection overlaps. Proxies also help automate processes across different profiles safely and efficiently. To dive deeper into why they’re essential, check out this article: https://www.europeanbusinessreview.com/why-proxies-are-essential-to-manage-multiple-social-media-accounts/ It’s a great resource to explore before choosing the right proxy strategy for your social media management.

Looking for trusted children’s book publishers?
I’ve been trying to find trusted companies that can help me publish my first children’s book, but it’s been a bit overwhelming. Then I came across a great childrens publisher that guides beginners like me through every step. They help with editing, illustrations, book covers, and even sharing the book with readers worldwide. What I love most is that they don’t take royalties, and I keep full rights to my story. Perfect for first-time authors!

Is there a way to analyze logs or system configurations?
Hello, I have a question that I would like to have answered:
After updating the operating system, why does DisplayLink behave erratically (losing signal after sleep, increased latency, automatic resolution changes) even though the drivers have been fully updated? Is there a way to analyze logs or system configurations to identify the root cause of the conflict between the OS, drivers, and the hardware dock(slope)?1 vote -
Lucky strike cigarettes today
Lucky Strike cigarettes are one of the most recognizable tobacco brands in the history of the 20th century. Their name, which can be translated as "lucky strike," was originally associated with good luck and success, which played a significant role in shaping the brand's image. However, behind the striking brand lies a product closely linked to health and social responsibility.
Lucky strike's history https://www.cigstore.co/product-category/lucky-strike/ begins in the late 19th century in the United States. Over time, the brand became a symbol of popular culture, particularly in the first half of the 20th century. Active advertising, the use of a recognizable…

Are there any new SystemDisplay modules or macOS APIs that could be conflicting with DisplayLink Manager after the update?
After updating to macOS Sequoia 15.4.x on a MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon), the DisplayLink adapter used in the docking station starts normally and both monitors are detected, but after ~30–90 seconds of operation, the secondary monitor loses signal ("No Monitor Snow Rider") even though DisplayLink Manager is still running. Unplugging and replugging the cable sometimes restores the signal, but only for a short time. This behavior is repeatable on two different docking/adapter models. Are there any new SystemDisplay modules or macOS APIs that could be conflicting with DisplayLink Manager after the update?

Where Clean Air Becomes a Competitive Advantage
Industrial air treatment is no longer just a regulatory checkbox; it’s a strategic decision that shapes reliability, safety, and brand trust. Modern facilities need systems that adapt, not patch problems after the fact. Torch-Air approaches air pollution control with engineering precision, building solutions that are tailored to real operating conditions rather than generic assumptions. At the heart of many systems sits the Scrubber Tower , positioned as a performance core rather than a standalone device. Torch-Air designs these systems to maximize contaminant removal while minimizing pressure drop, water use, and maintenance downtime. Their advantage lies in balance: robust materials, smart…

speed stars
speed stars delivers such an authentic sprinting experience! I really enjoy how the rhythm-based controls make me feel connected to every stride, it’s not about pressing as fast as possible, but finding that perfect tempo. Watching my runner gain speed with each well-timed press feels incredibly satisfying. The smooth animations and realistic physics make every race feel intense and immersive.

Consensus on Mac Mini M4 Pro thermal issues
I am thinking about buying either a Mac Mini M4 Pro or Studio. Besides general use cases such as browsing, office, coding, etc., I want to be able to use it for hobby music production (including orchestral sample libraries), light gaming (Baldur's Gate 3 is fine for me) and running LLMs locally (I am realistic here what is possible to achieve Geometry Dash Bloodbath. Thus M4 Pro/Studio with at least 36/48GB memory are set. But honestly, 48GB would be better for the future. The CPUs will all be fast enough, I tend to think I should at least go…

Balancing Work and Fun with Tech
I’ve been exploring different OS setups for work—macOS for everyday tasks and Linux for development. The flexibility of Linux is great, but I still enjoy taking short breaks with fun apps like soflo wheelie life.
Curious—how do you balance productivity and a little gaming fun in your workflow?

Have you switched from macOS to Linux (or vice versa)?
Hey everyone, I’ve been using a MacBook for a few years, and I have to admit I love the standard apps like Mail, Calendar, and Keynote. The M-series CPU performance is phenomenal, especially for creative work and casual gaming like a quick round of orbit kick during breaks.
At the same time, as a developer, Linux has so many advantages: better window management, seamless Docker usage without a VM, and endless customization. I’m curious if anyone here has made the switch between macOS and Linux, and how you feel about it after the transition.
For me, I enjoy both worlds:…
