Unleash Your Inner Child (or Just Let Off Some Steam) with Kick the Buddy
Ever had one of those days? You know, the kind where everything seems to go wrong, and you just need to... well, do something? Instead of taking it out on your keyboard (please don't!), why not try a surprisingly cathartic little game called kick the buddy? I'm not talking about any kind of real-world violence, of course. I'm talking about the digital ragdoll that absorbs all your virtual aggression.
This isn't a game that demands skill or strategy. It's a simple, silly, and sometimes strangely satisfying way to blow off steam. Think of it as a digital stress ball…1 vote -
Old Macbook Pro
I realize there may not be much beyond “upgrade.” I have an older MacBook Pro (mid-2012) with two USB-A ports and two Thunderbolt (2) ports. I’m using a Dell D6000 dock that connects via USB-C (with an included USB-C to USB-A adapter).
The Mac seems to work with the dock—keyboard, mouse, etc. are all functional, and I can drive two external 1080p displays. However, the performance is poor: the mouse is laggy, window movement is jittery, and interactions generally feel choppy. My hunch is that the connection bandwidth available through the dock/adapter path isn’t sufficient.
Is there anything I can…

The process of building a setup using my M1 MacBook Air
I’m in the process of building a setup using my M1 MacBook Air, and I want to make it as clean and functional as possible. My plan is to connect a DisplayLink adapter to a USB-C hub, which I would then connect to my laptop using a USB-C extender. The idea behind using the extender is to position the hub in a more convenient location and reduce cable clutter, giving my workspace a tidier appearance.
However, I’ve never set up a configuration like this before, so I’m not entirely sure if it will work as I’m envisioning it. I’m wondering…

Common Mistakes Drivers Make with Car Oil Changes in Dubai
Dubai's climate, traffic patterns, and long driving distances place extra stress on vehicle engines. While a car oil change may seem like a simple routine task, many drivers unknowingly make mistakes that reduce engine life, affect performance, and increase repair costs. In a city where high temperatures are the norm, engine oil plays a critical role in cooling, lubrication, and overall engine protection.
Service My Car regularly assists Dubai drivers who face engine issues caused by improper oil change practices. Understanding the most common mistakes drivers make with car oil changes in Dubai can help vehicle owners avoid unnecessary damage and…

Trouble with Multiple Monitors on Windows 11 Using DisplayLink Dock
I recently got a DisplayLink docking station to connect two external monitors to my laptop running Windows 11. The dock seems to work fine for charging and connecting USB devices, but I’m running into issues with the monitors. One monitor works perfectly, but the second one either flickers or isn’t detected at all. Geometry Vibes

Looking for trusted children’s book publishers?
I’ve been trying to find trusted companies that can help me publish my first children’s book, but it’s been a bit overwhelming. Then I came across a great childrens publisher that guides beginners like me through every step. They help with editing, illustrations, book covers, and even sharing the book with readers worldwide. What I love most is that they don’t take royalties, and I keep full rights to my story. Perfect for first-time authors!

Make driver updates happen automatically, regardless of whether a dock is attached or not.
At my helm is a sizable Windows 10 client infrastructure. We prefer to keep drivers informed. I would prefer to have the most recent driver installed on a displaylink (DL) dock when I connect to it. To the best of my knowledge, this is not how things are done nowadays.
Nowadays, when a computer connects to a DL dock, the driver is automatically enabled. If Windows Update checks for updates, it will update your DL driver. assumion that driver updates are enabled and that a more recent driver is accessible.Envision a world where I could skip the Windows update…

Switching from Windows to Linux for Development — Worth the Long-Term Move?
After years of using Windows for work, I’m seriously considering migrating fully to Linux for software development. The Among Us constant updates, built-in ads, and background telemetry on Windows are getting frustrating. I’ve heard Linux offers cleaner workflows, better resource control, and great flexibility for coding and automation — especially when using tools like Docker and Git.
For those who made the switch from Windows to Linux:
– How was your transition in terms of productivity and daily workflow?
– Did you run into any hardware or software limitations?
– And do you think Linux is sustainable as your main…1 vote -
External Monitor Flickering When Using DisplayLink on Windows 11
Hi everyone,
I recently set up a DisplayLink docking station with two external monitors on my Windows 11 laptop. While everything initially worked, I’ve started noticing occasional flickering on one of the monitors whenever I move windows or scroll through webpages.
I’ve updated both the DisplayLink driver and my graphics drivers to the latest versions, but the issue persists. I’ve tried different cables and ports, and the flickering seems to happen randomly rather than consistently.
Has anyone else experienced this issue on Windows 11 with DisplayLink? Could it be a driver conflict, or is there a setting I’m missing to…

M series Apple Sillicon should utlilize more GPU performance freezing up CPU headroom
What I noticed is that display link becomes like another window server and on a ecstatic page display link works very well, but to utilize the power of Apple Silicon, I think it would be a great idea that instead of display link utilizing intensive CPU performance issue find the middle ground or specially on max chips. It should utilize the GPU headroom, which would make things run incredibly smoother, but more importantly, things are already running smoothly, but allowing display link to use GPU free up CPU performance.

Hollow Knight – A Kingdom Of Echoes
hollow knight is an atmospheric 2D action-adventure Metroidvania that draws players into the fallen underground kingdom of Hallownest. Abandoned cities, crumbling temples, and dark tunnels hide dangerous enemies and powerful bosses that test both skill and patience. Each area is interconnected, encouraging players to revisit old locations with…

Can DisplayLink add per-monitor color calibration support?
I’m wondering: Is it possible for future DisplayLink wheelie life drivers to support per-monitor color calibration (ICC profiles) so each DisplayLink-connected screen can use its own accurate color profile?

why is it so important to save energy resources?
Energy isn't free — and wasting it means wasting money. When we leave lights on or let heating and cooling run unnecessarily, we're paying for energy that isn't even being used effectively. Simple changes, such as switching to LED bulbs or insulating your home, can significantly lower monthly utility bills.
Energy efficiency means doing more with less, and that's good for both your wallet and the planet.

When there are leads, but not enough data
We’re generating leads from LinkedIn, but the quality of our outreach is suffering. Most profiles don’t include emails, company size, or clear job roles, so our messages feel generic. I feel like we’re sitting on potential opportunities but don’t have enough data to approach people properly. How do teams usually solve this?
