DisplayLink support for Chrome OS now available
DisplayLink enabled products work with any Chromebook produced since January 2015, apart from Exynos and Tegra Chromebooks. Chrome OS R55 build onwards is recommended for support.
USB 2.0 enabled products may work, but will use the DisplayLink open source code and are not officially supported by DisplayLink.
Note that some bus powered products may not get enough power from the Chrome OS USB port, and will need to be connected through an external USB hub, for example USB bus powered monitors.
