Thank you for the suggestion. Could you specifiy the platform you are using? PC/Mac, which OS, which application and product using DisplayLink technology? For HDR, all elements must do their part and they are not all technically capable.

DisplayLink Manager 1.8 Alpha is adding an alternative way of adding 2560x/3008x missing scaling modes from M1/M2 silicon.

Yet a year later, now at v1.7.1, still no 2560x1440 retina HiDPI (4k). I do agree with other comments in this section: 1440 is a standard now. Native resolution looks tiny, and 1920x1080 HiDPI looks huge and prevents the purpose of getting 4k monitors to being with: getting more on the screen.
I have spent countless hours trying to make it work with other software such as RDM, BetterDisplay, etc... when really, it should be a feature. It's almost a bug for not being there by now.
We're not asking for HDR or for 8K @ 60Hz here; we're just looking for a simple resolution scale!
