Response via tech enquires email, sounds like it’s still being worked on for M1 Macs - hope it gets there for final release!

“These new resolutions have been enabled for users that struggled to choose them.

The case with HiDPI modes is that choosing them on M1 macbooks differ to the Intel laptops.

Intel based Macbooks should be able to use these two resolutions in HiDPI modes. As for the M1 Macbooks we have enabled more resolutions and we are still working on making high res modes available.

I believe there is a testing case where it is already working on BETA Monterey but I cannot guarantee that yet as we are still testing it.”

Thanks @Alvan Rampon - I have submitted my feedback and screenshots of the same behaviour on v1.5 beta via the email address you provided.

It would be great if there was a synaptics-monitored forum thread or similar for beta feedback if it is being made publicly available so that common issues could be identified and shared back to the product teams?

+3 for this suggestion to make 4K monitors useful. It's otherwise wasteful to run them at 1080p, and far too small text running at their native resolution without scaling.
A 2560x1440 HiDPI mode is badly needed.
    Thanks
