Ran into this problem as well. Really wanted to use an M1 MBP with my two LG 4K monitors but can't handle the small UI elements in MacOS at native 3840 x 2160. Hoping this feature will be added soon.

I updated to 1.5 and restarted but still only see three options under-scaled for my 4K LG monitor connected via Dell DisplayLink dock.
3840 x 2160
1920 X 1080
1600 X 900
When I option-click the scaled radio button I get many more options including 2560 x 1440. Most are listed as low-resolution. It works but looks kind fuzzy compared to my other monitors. I'll contact support as you suggested to see if this is expected behavior.
