I am using the CalDigit TS3 Plus+ and my second LG 4k monitor only displays at 1080p. This is not what I though I would get with this adapter. It would be great for a solution/upgrade. If there is no intention of fixing this issue then I would also like to know and I will go with a different solution all together.
I should have been a bit more clear. I have the CalDigit but I am also using the Startech HDMI to USB adapter that supports 4K. Since posting I was told that I can use a software product called Retina Display Menu that will get me the desired resolution. It works. I was also told that there could be an update to the display Link software that will also give us the result within the next month or so
