Support f.lux and Night Light on Windows
Flux will reduce the amount of blue light emitted by the screen which aids going to bed. As it stands, there is no support for color calibration to DisplayLink connected monitors. DCC/CI commands are supported, but there are issues that make it not a viable solution (http://superuser.com/questions/257606/is-there-a-work-around-to-configure-brightness-or-color-on-a-displaylink-monitor).

https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1886413 to enable this.

Just set up a new Targus dockinstation that uses DisplayLink. Was really disappointed when I noticed that my f.lux isn't working and really considering returning the docking station because of it. When your eyes are used to f.lux, having full brightness all the time is really a pain

I've just become a huge fan of flux with the late night work I do and was VERY disappointed to see issues on my machine that had DisplayLink attached!

This would be very appreciated! Thanks for looking into it. I'm glad it's on the to-do. Is there anything we can test at the moment?

Could you provide us with any more information about the new interface in insider builds? I'd love to be able to track this more closely, or even be able to provide feedback via the feedback hub.

@Sergio, the comment about Windows 10 is not about applicability of the solution, but the reason for not having implemented it yet.

What about users with windows 7? still many corporations have not migrated. Are you planning to integrate it there? or any other solution to reduce blue light during the night?

I hope this is humming along, I use a docking station at work and a port replicator at home and it kills me to not be able to use flux working from home in the evenings. Glad to know it is planned at least!

I work from a Lenovo MIIX 700 device with dual monitors setup. One monitor is powered by the intel adapter (which FLUX works on) and the other by my DisplayLink dock. The DisplayLink monitor doesn't support Flux sadly.
Please let F.lux work on displaylink adapters. It REALLY helps with eye strain after spending 8-10 hours staring at a screen everyday.

I would love this on macOS as well. I specifically purchased the DisplayLink adapter to be able to add a vertical monitor to my setup and it is frustrating to have the colors/temp different with two monitors side by side. Thanks!

Very much need this on macOS. Having an additional monitor is unusable in my studio at night without Flux support. It is painful to have such a bright device in conjunction with all of the other monitors working with Flux on them.
