Question About DisplayLink Driver Updates and Compatibility With New Windows Versions
Hi everyone,
I recently started using a DisplayLink-based docking station and I have been impressed with how convenient it is for managing multiple monitors from a single connection. However, I wanted to ask about future driver support and compatibility.
I noticed that operating system updates, especially major Windows updates, sometimes affect external display performance. I would like to know how DisplayLink handles driver updates when new Windows versions are released.
My specific question is: How soon after a major Windows update does DisplayLink usually release updated drivers to ensure stable performance and compatibility?
I am currently using a DisplayLink dock with multiple external monitors, and I want to avoid issues such as screen flickering, connection drops, or reduced resolution after future system updates.
Does anyone have experience with updating DisplayLink drivers before or after a major Windows upgrade? Are there any recommended steps to follow to make the transition smoother? granny 1
