When my macbook pro is set to sleep, and I subsequently wake it up, the two monitors connected through the visiontek dock turn off and I have to restart the computer to get things to work again.
Please use DisplayLink Manager 1.8.1 or newer. Available from https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos

After waking from Sleep, one of the external monitor will be not detected, shown as "No Monitor" but with a 1280x1024( default) resolution.
Found out the only way is to bring it back to the better resolutions is to unplug the power of the dock and plug it in again.

I have the same problem. If I sleep my macbook Pro then the second monitor not detected. This is a crucial issue for the entire product. I restart the macbook and the same problem exists. Please fix it or tell me a way to deal with it.

Even after a restart, this is still the case. No additional monitors are detected now. Running MacOS 13.1 (22C65).

Having the same issue on an M1 MacBook Air. Running v1.8 and Ventura, same issue on v1.7 and Monterey. Seems to be when the MacBook goes to sleep and locks itself. Have installed the Login Extension, Enabled Notifications and everything else the application asks me to do. But still won't work when trying to wake the Mac.

Having same issue and fix is either unplugging or restarting DisplayLink (sometime requiring Force Quit). Have M1 14" MacBook Pro. Using Dell dock.

Having same issue, should not have to restart anything! Should be an auto test to verify connection with history of connected monitors. If no reconnect from wake, app should be reconnecting automaticlly to monitors.

I have the same problem, except that I can resolve it by restarting DisplayLink Manager software. However windows are all moved to main screen, which is a bummer.

Same here. But you can also just unplug the dock and plug it in again. Same effect.
