Targus DOCK190USZ connected to the M1. When running the software with 11.1, I get continuous logouts / no external screens while the dock is plugged in. Oddly enough, it also stops charging when the display link software is running. Steps tried: uninstall/reinstall, reboot - no dice.

Please fix this on M1 Macs--as previous commenter stated, display freezes and resets display settings when trying to set rotation.

Ditto. The display freezes and no longer updates after setting a rotation.

Display link 1.2 is not compatiable with Big Sur 11.1 and m1 chip. It worked with BS 11 though.

Will this work on BigSur 11.1 with an ivanky dock?

Can I get an approximate timeline for rotation support? This will help me figure out if it's worth exploring alternatives or not...thanks!

My goal: run three monitors on a new Mac Mini with M1 running Big Sur 11.1.

My prior Mac Mini (2018) ran this fine, but when I received this new machine, and booted it, I discovered it can’t run three monitors. All three monitors work, but only two at a time, on the M1-based new Mac Mini. Sometimes on boot monitors 1 and 2 will turn on, and other times 2 and 3, but never 1, 2 and 3 simultaneously. MacOS seems to randomly decide which two monitors it will use on boot.

I have:

Monitor 1: ViewSonic VA2431WM with a DVI-D-to-HDMI cable into a RocketFish HDMI-to-DVI-D adapter into a Benfei DVI-D-to-USB-C adapter, plugged into Mac Mini’s TB port. (Honestly, this sounds incredibly complicated but it just “always worked” just fine on the older Mac Mini, and I guess this is just what I had for cabling—must have been lacking a plain DVI-D cable back in the day).

Monitor 2: Samsung LU28E570DS/ZA (UE570) with HDMI cable into Mac’s HDMI port. This monitor always works, every boot.

Monitor 3: Dell S2209W with DVI-D cable into another Benfei DVI-D-to-USB-C adapter, plugged into Mac’s final TB (USB-C) port.

No matter what combination, etc., the DisplayLink Manager, v 1.2.0 (build 55.125), always says “no monitor detected.”

Any ideas or suggestions to get all three at the same time?

It would be great if your company would release ARM optimized drivers. In addition to that I've problems when trying to activate AirPlay (virtual monitor) with active DisplayLink Drivers enabled on my M1 MacBookPro. That leads to screen distortion and the fact that it's not possible to use AirPlay as an extended monitor. As soon as the DisplayLink Drivers will be stopped everything works as expected.

Hello, I purchased Plugable USB-C model UD-ULTC4K. Trying to connect two LG monitors via HDMI put my M1 MacBook pro will only detect one display even after I enabled screen recording. Please advise.

I am using DisplayLink Manager v1.2 on Mac OS Big Sur, and screen rotation doesn't work for 1 of the monitors ( Thinkvision T24I-10 Display). Is there any update on this?

I just got an ASUS MB169 and I am using a new Mac mini M1. I can get things to run ok, but once I reboot, I have to disconnect and reconnect to get it to restart.

I saw the notes in 1.0 about the login screen extension, but the Mac never even shows the app as running, so I can't get to the launch automatically screen.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Even after installing DisplayLink on my Mac M1 Ai, i won't see anything in "Recording Screen" under Security & Privacy.
Also in DisplayLink status says "No monitor Detected".
PS. I have one external monitor working out of the two. I want both to work as extended not mirror. thanks,

Wanting to run 3 monitors on new M1 Mac mini. Loaded DisplayLink w the CalDigit Thunderbolt Station 3 Plus, Model: T53 Plus, but will not recognize.
On DisplayLink manager "Connection Status:" No Monitor Detected.

- Kensington SD5000T is not using DisplayLink technology so DisplayLink app/driver/name in accessibility won't be useful for you.
- Satechi Type-C Dual Multimedia Adapter website says that product doesn't support 2 screens on Apple M1, that tells me it shouldn't be using our technology either.
- Caldigit thunderbolt3 mini dual hdmi 2.0 or Caldigit thunderbolt3 mini dual hdmi 2.0 do not use DisplayLink technology.

@alban I have the Macbook Air M1 with Big Sur 1.1 and Displaylink 1.2 using a Kensington SD5000T. I am trying to get the 3rd monitor to work. For whatever reason, I don't see the "DisplayLink" Option under "Accessibility" in "Security & Privacy" (I do see Zoom if that matters).

I found a suggestion online to add it manually by clicking the "+" and going through the tree to get to "PrivilegedHelperTools" but I don't see it there either. Am I missing something or is there a problem with my setup?

Per the release notes for release 1.2 under section "H. Known issues and limitations":

"- Screen rotation on Mac with Apple M1 chip is not supported on macOS Big Sur 11.0.1"

As a known issue, is there any idea when a fix may be developed and released for M1 users?
