This problem also on MacBook Pro 16 on Catalina, with DisplayLink I don't have any HiDPI modes for my display, without DisplayLink everything works great.

At the moment, when I am using my Macbook Air M1 with a Startech Dual 4K60Hz Dockingstation, it looks super blurry, when switching to 2560x1440. Can I expect, that this will be displayed in a much better way with DisplayLink Manager 1.3.1? If yes, I can't wait for it. Is a beta available? :)
When using RDM, I can choose this resolution, but not with HiDPI :(.

Great. Yes, we will be issuing an DisplayLink Manager 1.3.1. app update to work around the removal of 4K mode on M1 in latest OS update. Most likely next week.

I should have been a bit more clear. I have the CalDigit but I am also using the Startech HDMI to USB adapter that supports 4K. Since posting I was told that I can use a software product called Retina Display Menu that will get me the desired resolution. It works. I was also told that there could be an update to the display Link software that will also give us the result within the next month or so

Marc, Caldigit TS3 Plus+ does not use DisplayLink technology and therefore is not controlled by DisplayLink Manager app. We recommend you contact Caldigit for support on their product as it would not be appropriate for us to comment.

I have the same issue. I am using the CalDigit TS3 Plus+ and my second LG 4k monitor only displays at 1080p. This is not what I though I would get with this adapter. It would be great for a solution/upgrade. If there is no intention of fixing this issue then I would also like to know and I will go with a different solution all together.

Please add more resolutions. I am only getting 1920x1080 with the M1 running Big Sur 11.3 and Displaylink 1.3.0 Build 56.111. Using the Kensington SD4780P

Same, I got Dell D6000 Dock for my MBP M1 and it can't scale 27" 4K monitor to 2560x (HiDPI) resolution. Thinking about to sell this dock and mac.....

Yeah, this DisplayLink dock I just purchased is completely non-functional on 27" 4K monitors without a 2560x1440 HiDPI mode. The dock and the M1 Mac are both getting returned over this.

I finally plugged my new M1 Macbook Air into the doc, took a bit longer than I'd like to admit to realize I had to actually launch the DisplayLink app to get the monitors to be detected... Only to find out the scaling I assumed to be available, 2560 x 1440 is only available in "low resolution". Terribly disappointed. Hoping a fix is out soon.

This feature would be a real eye candy for me and my 4k monitor.

+1, have three 4k screens the setup with an Intel Mac and Display Link works really awesome.

But with the M1 I can only use one of them due to the display resolution not having a HiDPI option. Basically for the M1 Mac the DisplayLink Software does not provide any benefit because of that.
I also tried the ResX workarround but that makes everything look blurry.

Please add HiDPI support "Looks like 2560x1440" for 4k Displays. That yould be really helpful.

If you use a 27" 4k Monitor a resolution of "Looks like 2560x1440" would be perfect, that is what MacOS offers, if you directly connect the Monitor.

It's impossible to use 2K resolution via DisplayLink without HiDPI. Fix this, pls!!!
