The Annapurna Bhandar Scheme — also officially referred to as Annapurna Yojana or Annapurna Bhandar Prakalpo(https://annapurnabhandarwb.co.in/) — is a direct cash transfer programme launched by the West Bengal government. It puts a flat ₹3,000 per month (₹36,000 per year) into the Aadhaar-linked, single-holder bank account of every eligible woman between the ages of 25 and 60, irrespective of caste or social category. The payment mode is strictly Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). There is no middleman, no agent commission, and no processing fee at any stage.
