    It can be really frustrating when protected content won’t play properly, and simply telling users to disconnect their dock isn’t a practical solution—especially in 2023 when most people rely on their setups for both personal and professional use. A proper fix or at least a clear warning about this incompatibility would be far more helpful and user-friendly. Technology should work seamlessly, not force workarounds that disrupt daily tasks.     That’s actually a great suggestion! Having an option to force the resolution to 720p or 1080p (and adjust Hz) would be super helpful for users with lower-end phones, especially when playing FPS games or streaming apps to the TV. It would definitely improve performance and reduce lag. I’ve seen similar performance tweaks recommended on sites like https://null-brawl.com.de/ for gaming setups, and they really make a difference. Hopefully, the DisplayLink team considers adding this feature in future updates.
