   Why does the purple DisplayLink icon cover my Mac OS window controls – the red, yellow, green buttons in the upper left corner of each window?

   While not my favorite in the menu bar, I can live with it there. However, it's unacceptable to interfere with basic Mac windows.

   How do I remove it from covering my window controls?
