    Very interesting that we seem to be entering an age where software and operation systems are following a dictatorship configuration. This is new to me, and I've been a software engineer for 26 years. I'm guessing all the offshore people have different ideas and are implementing them now. And when I say different ideas I mean they don't care and possibly don't understand.

    Yeah, this is setting a precedent that I do not think is a road we want to travel. I know there are probably other contexts where this is true, I personally haven't encountered any.
