    I got the drivers from https://github.com/displaylink-rpm/displaylink-rpm but the process is prohibitive for a lot of people and also often erroneous.
    I reluctantly disabled secure boot in order to get the displaylink driver to install and work properly .
    As far as I understand, not doing so means that I would have to sign the modules and reinstall after each kernel update. There were complications with that process and I gave up.
