    I would think having it as a module would be more supportive over multiple kernels. This way you dont have to recompile a kernel for each distro just compile the module for the kernel WHy NVIDIA, AMD and VMWARE do it.

    I suggest you have mediaengine 2.1 installed, flash player 18+ ActiveX, and also do you have flash player installed on your citrix servers using HDX or framehawk?

    what issues? works fine with Receiver 3.4-4.4.100 been using it for 2 years with no issues. Also works great with Ubuntu 16.04 and Citrix Linux Receiver 13.4

    you can try my script

    I wrote a script to run on startup after I logged into ubuntu 16.04, this wil lsetup external monitors and or turn off the laptop screen. Everything is configured via ini file in ~/.config/dplink.ini
