DisplayLink Manager 1.6 or newer (https://synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos) on macOS 12 Monterey now enables display rotation on Apple M1 computers (details in  https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1984314 )

    Yes, chiming in with my voice here too. Please implement screen rotation as soon as possible.

    I would like to add that I almost didn't buy the DisplayLink adapter for this reason alone. I would imagine there are many others out there holding off on purchasing DisplayLink enabled products for their M1 Macs because of the lack of rotation support.

    Ditto - support screen rotation please, ASAP. Just dropped £190 on an adaptor without realising that rotation wasn't supported. Wish I'd seen this thread beforehand. The implication of the marketing blurb is that DisplayLink does what M1 chips can't do; i.e. supports multiple monitors. It really has limited functionality - wish I'd bought an Intel 27" which actually did what I wanted.

    Please support screen rotation on the m1 chip. I just purchased an plugable USB 3.0 dual 4k docking station and I love its ability to support dual external monitors for m1 but just one thing I wish it had is screen rotation.
