Support rotation on M1 Macs
Update to enable rotation to work correctly on M1 Macs.

DisplayLink Manager 1.6 or newer (https://synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos) on macOS 12 Monterey now enables display rotation on Apple M1 computers (details in https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1984314 )
For issues with this new functionality, please reach out to Technical-Enquiries@Synaptics.com so the team can investigate through a technical support ticket.

Hello,
this is my current setup:
- 2020 M1 Macbook pro
- Philips 2560x1440 (available ports: DP, HDMI)
-Asus 1920x1080 (available ports: DP, HDMI)
- I am using the latest DisplayLink drivers (1.5) in MacOS Monterey (version 12.0.1)I bought the docking station DELL D6000 in order to attach both monitors at the same time as well as to charge my laptop). The problem I am having happens when i try to connect the dock to the laptop using the USB-C connector.
When i use USB-A cable of the dock for my m1 macbook by external USB-A to USB-C adapter, it work properly on 2 external display without charging and no connection from any port of USB-a, usb-c, and network connection.
The problem happens when I Using USB-C: I connect the dock to my Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port. It doesn’t work at all. Connection status shows No monitor detected and it doesn’t work at all.
Could you please help me identify the issue and how can I solve it, please?

Just had my DisplayLink hub and $1k worth of monitors delivered, two of which I intended to connect via the hub and run in portrait on my M1 Mac. Painful realisation that support for this is dependent on the DisplayLink software. Very glad to hear this is in the works.

Is there a possibility that there will be a beta release of version 1.6? :-) Looking forward to getting my new monitors in use.

With MacOS 12 you can select the rotation again. But it doesn't work 🤦♂️
Thanks @Nile for your workaround! -

if using two screen there is a way around it - use a display link for the horizontal monitor and then a normal hub for the vertical plugged directly into the mac
