Support rotation on M1 Macs
Update to enable rotation to work correctly on M1 Macs.

DisplayLink Manager 1.6 or newer (https://synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos) on macOS 12 Monterey now enables display rotation on Apple M1 computers (details in https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1984314 )
For issues with this new functionality, please reach out to Technical-Enquiries@Synaptics.com so the team can investigate through a technical support ticket.

Gutted to see that the first update in months has not included this. Agree with other comments, it really should be top priority. I would not have bought a DisplayLink dock if I had known this in advance, and I cannot recommend them to anyone while this is missing.
Could we at least like an idea of how long this will take? -

This is the only feature you should be working on. Extremely disappointing it is taking this long.

Screen rotation not working

DisplayLink 1.3Definitely does not work.
Any attempt to rotate either of my external monitors causes the monitor being requested to rotate to freeze. I can hit "Gather Windows" and see the option to "Confirm" or "Revert" on my laptop's main screen, but if I Confirm, the monitor attempting to be rotated freezes in its current state and can't be accessed. -

Also really need rotation for my workflows, Usually have my code on a vertical display!

Is the consensus that this is working for some people, and not for others? Why has admin not updated this conversation (or the latest driver)?

Screen rotation finally works!
At least for me. Tried it a few days ago on a Dell monitor at work and got nada but when I used it on a new portable monitor I got, it works perfectly.
Computer: M1 MacBook Air, 8c GPU, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD
Monitor: Lepow 15.6 inch Portable Monitor, 1920x1080 Full HD, USB-C connection

I check this page a few times a week in hopes of an update so I can buy the product again… months later, still no update.
Hopefully Apple comes out with their next m1/m2 that doesn’t limit your monitors so I don’t have to deal with this DisplayLink crap.
This post has been up for a year (last April), tons of comments with everyone having the same issue, no fix, no work around, nothing :(

Still not working on MacOS 11.3.1 (Big Sur)
An interesting observation is that when you select a rotation for a screen, the 'Arrangement' panel will show that screen in it's rotated orientation - but the screen itself does not rotate.

Hi everybody,
hope anybody can help me out. My mac does not provide me an update. Currently I run the mac OS sera 10.12.6. Therefore the installation of the display link does not allow me to pass through. Anybody familiar with this issue.Would be grateful, for any support.

I would NOT have bought my DisplayLink device, had I know this was not working. Please fix this ASAP, it's crippling many people's normal workflows.

Please fix the screen rotation, it is a basic need for everyone!

The rotation does not work. This should not be flagged as "COMPLETED'". I have M1 Macbook pro Big Sur v11.2. the lastest drivers don't do anything to fix this.

Wouldn't let me register on the forums as it said it was spam, but this is the most needed feature!!
