20.04 has been released! Pre-release has been out for months. Where is the driver/installation?
Provide a driver and installation that cleanly installs the DisplayLink driver for release 20.04 LTS.
I have an entire department of engineers ready to migrate to 20.04 LTS.
Please also be more thorough in documenting the dependencies of the install script.
5.3 driver for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS available for download from: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/ubuntu. Installation article updated accordingly.

Thank you Alban for the new 5.3 driver for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. It works perfectly on my notebook (Dell XPS with Dell D6000 Docking Station) and could be installed without any problems.

HI Alban, that is great news for us Linux users,
Big thanks.
Please work with Canonical ahead of next LTS release out of the box - i'm sure they will be more than happy to anounce displalink products are to be supported with an upcomming release.
More and more devs (who use multiple displays) are switching to linux. -

I think, this is my last "displaylink"-driven devices ...
Two releases behind the actual release of one of the major Linux-distributions is not acceptable. -

Same here driver worked on ubuntu 19.10 and now on 20.04 not any more... The monitor adaptors are sold as linux suitable... the last driver release was 5.2 on 08 Jul 2019 . This ubuntu LTS relase did not fall out of the sky..

I use current drivers on Ubuntu 20.04 without any problems.
But I expected that in the regular work environment, the dedicated drivers for the current version are more important. -

Do we have an expected driver release date?
