Support Night Shift and f.lux for Mac OS

As documented, there is work underway for Windows to support f.lux. However, I haven't seen any clear communication that support Night Shift of f.lux on Mac OS is in the works as neither are supported via DisplayLink. It would be really nice to have these options on Mac.

    Night Shift works, when I quit DisplayLink Manager 1.1 and replug D6000 to MacBook Pro. But it doesn't work while DisplayLink Manager 1.1 running at background. So don't choose to automatically open the app when login.

    I just bought a D6000 secondhand, and would not recommend purchasing these devices until this problem is resolved. If I had paid full price at a retail store, I would be returning the dock tomorrow as I was unaware this would be a problem.

    I am strongly considering returning my DisplayLink-powered Dell hub since neither DDC nor NightShift seem to work with it. Please fix!

    Have run into the same issue as other users; really love the DisplayLink product otherwise. It allows me to use a 2012 Mac mini with three monitors and is the sole reason I don't have to purchase a old Mac Pro instead. Were it possible that this feature be added it would be about perfect. Hoping for progress on this one!

    This is the top issue reported - I would get started on this soon or people will stop buying your product. Not being able to adjust display brightness using your operating system is basically a deal breaker.

    Just came here to report the lack of Night Shift is a bug. Well, at least it isn't just me. Would really like to see this implemented on MacOS.
