Increased Mouse lag since the W10 Redstone / DP Driver 8.0 Update.
I have increased Mouse lag since the W10 Redstone / DisplayLink Driver 8.0 Update. I have a 3-screen Setup here. Surface Pro 3 + the DisplayLink USB Docking Station with 2 additional Screens. Working on those 2 external Screens got a bit tedious since the W10 Redstone / DisplayLink 8.0 Update. Maybe I´m too sensitive, but I feel enough mouse lag on the external Screens to slow down my daily work a bit. I´m using the DisplayLink Adapter since 2 years now and there were highs and lows regarding lag, but Version 7.9 on Windows 10 1511 was really good. Now with the new Windows / Driver Version (and the new Driver model?) it got worse.

Probably the last update. Since the 8.0 M2 Driver Version, it feels much better and I was not able to see that high CPU utilization of the WUDFHost.exe again so far :-)

I´ve seen that you just released 8.0M2. I installed it and it feels much better. I´ll work with it for a day and then Report back.
Please don´t Forget to update the Corporate installers (they are 8.0M1 at the Moment), so I can update all my OSD Tasks :-) -

To add to this, I experienced very high CPU utilization of the wudfhost.exe while doing a Download a few minutes ago (downloading with around 8 Mbit/s) and the mouse lag was very, very bad. Using Process Explorer and having a deeper look at the wudfhost.exe, I could spot the dlidcore.dll always on top and consuming most of the CPU cycles. Dlidcore..dll seems to be part of the DisplayLink Drivers. Those new Drivers (or the new Driver model) seem to have issues. At least on a Surface Pro 3, so maybe it´s just with some chipsets? Now as the download is finished, CPU utilization of the wudfhost.exe went down to around 20% and mouse lag is much better (not gone, but I hit the spots I want to hit again).
Despite the huge CPU utilization, is it possible that the older Drivers had a better queueing and favoring mouse Input before everything else to have a better Input experience?
