For reference, even lightweight streaming apps like FlixFox (<a href="https://www.flixfoxdownload.net/">flixfoxdownload.net</a>) which are heavily optimized for low-end Indian hardware show stutter when projected through DP Presenter 4.2.x on a 4K external display. Falling back to 4.0.x resolved it instantly, so the regression seems to be in the resolution scaling pipeline.
+1 for an option to cap maximum output resolution. A simple toggle between 1080p / 1440p / 4K modes would let users pick what their hardware can actually handle, rather than forcing native panel resolution.
