An error occurred while saving the comment I also went through a similar migration when reworking my photo pipeline off a macOS-only app. Slightly off-topic, but for anyone doing batch photo upscaling/enhancement on Linux after moving away from macOS tools, I've found https://qualityenhancer.org/ works fine in-browser regardless of OS, so it's one less native-app dependency to worry about post-migration.
