    Just taking a guess here. I think the DisplayLink creates the second display on M1 MacBooks by "recording" a desktop to be viewed on the second screen. Because the MacBook detects screen recording it will not let the protected content be displayed.

    If this is the case, there will not be a resolution to this. It is a feature, not a bug...
