I have recently moved from a 2018 MacBook Pro (Intel) to an M2 MacBook Air. DisplayLink currently does not support DDC/CI on macOS, so MonitorControl has to use a shading layer to adjust the brightness, sub-optimal to say the least. I use Monitor Control to control the brightness of my monitors. I have recently moved from a 2018 MacBook Pro (Intel) to an M2 MacBook Air.
DisplayLink currently does not support DDC/CI on macOS, so MonitorControl has to use a shading layer to adjust the brightness, sub-optimal to say the least. (https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl/issues/582#issuecomment-917843942)
