   8.1 release has started to bring improvements, 8.2 continued to build on this.

   may be coincidence but I've seen crazier ... so as Michael McDaniel commented · 14 November, 2016 ... I downloaded the compatibility checker, ran it .. and my mouse lag disappeared..

   WTF microsoft .. what did you screw up? and just for the record ... I'm *not* using DisplayLink on this machine! Its never touched this machine. I do have it on my Dell 7559 but even there I don't use the Display link with my Dell 3100 very often ..
