   8.1 release has started to bring improvements, 8.2 continued to build on this.

   ARGH. Finally got my displaylink to work with the latest drivers. Then literally 2 hrs later Windows comes along with another useless update and I'm back to a lagging mouse. This is recent with the very latest windows update. Guess I'm back to waiting for the 8.0 M4 update for it to resolve again. :(
