   8.1 release has started to bring improvements, 8.2 continued to build on this.

   For anyone that experiences this, I always run the displaylink windows support tool and click "System Compatibility Check" and it always fixes the mouse lag. Don't know why, but it works. http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=65
