   8.1 release has started to bring improvements, 8.2 continued to build on this.

   Agree with the comments below, 8.0 m3 was abysmal with win10 x64 build 1607, the 8.1 alpha helps the lag and visual glitches but it still has very high CPU usage and you can easily bog down the machine with mundane tasks.
