The change is needed in the operating system kernel mode graphics driver. Microsoft is looking into scheduling this development. In the meantime, provided you have purchased a platform allowing you to, the workaround is to disable the low end GPU so Windows uses the only one left. Today, Windows will always use the POST graphics card.

I wish i would have seen this before I posted my comment.
It is an Nvidia Optimus issue, but it is NOT Nvidia's issue. Optimus GPU switching has always worked in the past before DL driver was installed. Not sure why, but it seems as though the DL is taking control, or forcing the intel graphics driver to be the only driver selectable by windows.
Why DL driver is able to even alter any of that is beyond me.
